Unfortunately it looks like LMS 7.8 doesn't show the versions of libraries - this was added in later versions so I'm guessing the SSL library is out of date as well. The required support package which has the SSL library is libio-socket-ssl-perl. This thread ( https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Storage-Apps-Old-Legacy/apt-get-install-libio-socket-ssl-perl-fails/m-p/1511584 ) seems may be relevant.
