If you only want to see the artwork etc but not hear then you don't need
to sync.
You could temporarily reconnect the keyboard and tell that JiveLite to
control the other player (Settings/Choose Player).

I experience this problem a lot, so maybe to start with,
I hooked a Raspberry Pi HDMI output to my TV and I can hear music
(although Choppy), and I see the Bootloader messages, but cannot see any
Album Covers. Is it possible to view Album Covers and Track info via the
HDMI port into a TV ?
If So, what settings do I need to accomplish this?

I dont know anything about the Spotty API and only basics about
CLI/JSONRPC but setting logging of jsonrpc to Information helped me a
lot to understand where I made my mistakes.
There is a typo in your JSON object BTW: the second 0 should be a 10, I
guess.

I am running LMS 7.9.2 on my Synology NAS and have latest Spotty
(v4.3.0) installed and using it on two Squeezebox players.
Once in a while (can be every 5 minutes or every 6 hours) my players
become silent. When I look at my Squeezebox player (iPeng) I can see
that latest song is still
OK, I didn't look at the relevant lines of the log.
The folder of installed plugins had a rights problem. I cleaned the
mess, and everything is OK.

What I -might- do is add an "Add to playlist" action - alowing tracks
(and albums?) to be added to playlists, or create a new playlist. Then
you would create you MIP mix, select all tracks, and "Add to playlist".

something that belongs in the skin.
