When browsing Spotty menus or in your music library? Could you please

- "Additional debugging": set to "None"
- "Streaming options" "HTTP mode": set to "chunked"

I've been trying to configure custom clock to display a news feed.
It appears it won't work with secured (https) rss feeds.
The few feeds that actually work are all plain http.
Am I right in understanding that only non secured rss feeds work?
Where is the limitation coming from?
Is there

Also seeing this today. Running recent LMS 8.0 and latest Spotty plugin.
I can see playlists, artists, albums, and play a selected album, but on
any playlist I select (my own or Spotify lists), it returns EMPTY. (I
don't have this issue using the Spotify official app, outside LMS)

I have the problem, that if I want to load a playlist via the LMS (not
the Spotify connect), that Spotty just loads 0 Playlist items. Because
Spotify changed something on their end which made the playlist tracks
look "not playable". v4.4.3 of the plugin is on its way and should work
around
Have also inserted client ID, and restarted LMS and RPi a few times.
I'll keep trying, but wanted to provide feedback. This initial started
on the prior version of Spotty. It continued after updating to latest
version of Spotty. I'm on LMS 8.0. Thank you.

Hey,
I have the problem, that if I want to load a playlist via the LMS (not
the Spotify connect), that Spotty just loads 0 Playlist items. Because
of this, no playlist is able to start. Sadly there is no log entry

I tried the Client ID but it didn't have any effect to the behaviour of

I am having the same issue. This was not an issue yesterday- Spotify was
working fine. Same symptoms for me- can see all lists, but when opened
they show as empty. I just recently updated to LMS 8.0. May try
uninstalling / reinstalling Spotty to see if that helps.
I’m having exactly the same
I was thinking of hosting a copy of an https rss file locally, possibly
copied automatically from a cron job on my lms server, but so far I've
had no luck getting the RSS service to display even a copy of a known
working feed from my NAS.

I also just lost all my playlists, incl Spotify generated ones. And I do
use the Client ID - and that worked until this night when I did a
restart of LMS8 - then everything was lost. Have done one more restart -
no difference.

Look in the server log for the errors, then grab the failing URL that
the plugin reports, and paste it into a browser; you'll get a bit more

Are you sure you don't have a firewall blocking traffic for LMS? The

Hi,
I am have the YouTube Plugin installed in my LMS installation and I
think I've noticed that the Plugin plays videos that don't have adverts
with no problem but for videos that contain (or may be start with) an
advert it just plays the first 3-4 seconds then stops. Is this expected
behaviour
Following Philippes advise, I created a new project in Google APIs and
now it works fine.
