In the past few days, I have noticed that when I play some (but not all)

Hello Philippe,
Having sent you the earlier reply, I started playing the system in an
"as is" configuration. That is, as installed, without any alterations
whatsoever.
All was well for about four tracks of music, then it stopped playing,
for no apparent reason. It then started "stuttering",

depends on your OS. On NAS side there needs to run a webdav service. My
Synology has this.
On client side you can use some tools

Just a thought ... but it can still be possible for a metadata provider
plugin to work with direct streaming by having a background timer
running in the plugin.
I do it by polling every 30 seconds or so (and more precisely if I have
a known end time for a track coming up soon).

Hi Philippe,
Here, hopefully, is the log file for the bridge.
As soon as I started flow, the whole system stopped working.
Prior to flow being started, the bridge worked playing tracks
individually.
There should be ample power to run most programs and operations. The
processor is an

Thank you for the log. As suspected, it is direct streaming to your
player, not going via your server, where the plugin is providing the
meta data hooks.
I must admit, I can't
