I found that when I playing some local music file with Roon, using Roon
bridge, it's ok. But if I using squeeze2upnp to bridge the music to DLNA
render, then the music play is ok, but the progress bar does not move

enabling/disabling the plugin in individual players as well as

It has a description of the power off function ... does that match your
experience?
It also has some source code.
So you could investigate further from there.
For example put some logging in that section in LMS to see if it is
being called in your case.

That is chrome itself that does that, nothing (AFAIK) that a site can do
