Indeed it was. I re-added it as a favourite, and then checked DSTM, and
sure enough, it was in the list of options.

The player selector is there, above the volume. I just didn't grab it in
the screenshot!
Re-installed Random Mix and my DSTM options changed to this:

Retested, and the problem remains.

I uninstalled Random Mix plugin and my DSTM options changed to this:

Then retested, with the same outcome - song stopped halfway through.

Similar thing here.
Running 7.9.0 - 1471849136 on Mac.
Playing only local tracks. DSTM set to "Random songs".
If I add a single track to the playlist, it will stop playing halfway
through, and DSTM will appear in the playlist with "Song mix", but no
songs. It just stops.
