Ok, for anyone wanting to do this, I found a really great method. It
works for any Airplay stream coming from an iOS device and works well.
You will need several pieces of software: Airfoil Speakers & Nicecast
for OS X , and optionally but highly recommended for iOS: iPeng. I'm
sure this would
Thanks for the replies, I'm messing with Nicecast right now.

I could use as an Airplay target and then output the
As an iOS/OSX user, I've become more and more integrated with the new
Apple Music service and the great functionality across all my devices.
The only problem however, is multiroom support for Airplay. It sucks.
There is a workaround using Airfoil but it's not very reliable or

I'd love to see the sync issue resolved in this plug-in. I'm very used
to the simplicity of using iPeng to control my multi-room system and I
wouldn't mind having to switch back and forth between controlling my
song selection on the Apple Music app and adjusting volume / syncing
players in iPeng.
This looks like just what I need (a way to remotely restart LMS when
issues arise), however, it won't install itself on my LMS 7.8 install.
