A "bbcsounds" link only points to the programme's player page on the
Sounds site. The only MP3 resources in Sounds are files available for

128k is the best on offer for HLS on-demand. Higher quality HLS
on-demand streams disappeared over a year
If an iThingy can't pick up 320kbps HLS/AAC live radio then what apart
from a few Pure radios and our Squeezeboxen can? Have they gone to all
this palaver just for the desktop where 99.9% of users don't have
anything other than tinny speakers and probably wouldn't notice if it
