Latest version of LastFM plugin now in the zip file
http://www.bpscgi.co.uk/SlimScrobbler/SlimScrobblerUNIX.zip
This has some dev code in the Scrobbler part (sorry) but it should be
fully working. I'll be moving to release level stuff in May probably.

Hi,
No a 52 minute track should not submit. This is LastFM policy. The
rules are:
1) don't submit tracks 30 secs
2) don't submit tracks 30 mins
3) submit tracks after 50% of the duration or 240 secs whichever comes
sooner.

Hi Tass,
Firstly, I've been doing some significant work on SlimScrobbler for the
6.5b1 release. I'm just about to post some info. If you're a 6.5b1 user
I'd say upgrade and try again. If you're a 6.2 user post back here and
we might be able to help

etc, however as a reference point I
can say it is working with:
6.5b1 on WinXP and lastFM (playing lastFM streams as well as
submitting). Using 2 user accounts, but all submissions on the primary
account.
See my sig for what I've listened to :)

, all I can say is it works for me. Any updates I make are always
packaged into the Zip release anyway so there's an alternative, but I'd
be happier if CVS was as smooth and effortless as SVN . . . .

You do seem to be submitting (although I'm not tempted by your choice

I made a mistake, LastFM does not appear to work with 6310. I obviously
moved on. I have had it working with a recent version (last 2 days or
so) so I'll see if I can work out what's going on.

Hi,
I seem to remember some time ago I saw a post that either slim server
itself or a plugin (slimscrobbler?) could log played tracks to a file,
however I can't find the post. Does anyone know if this feature already
exists before I write from scratch :(

The code is very simple:

it appears it isn't executing as I don't see the message in the log (I
have --d_plugins enabled)
Any ideas?

This would be really useful, especially if the announcing functionality
was somehow generic.
I'd be interested in having the current time announced between each
track (as I listen to my SB in the morning before I start work).
