I've got the same problem with Sugarcube 2.x.x. Some songs are often
repeated within the same session. And another notice: No matter what
song you start with, sugarcube seems to be in love with some. They are
repeated every day.

err you have answered your own question? Enable it via the menu on the

Just installed 2.0 Beta2... I'm a Happy Spicefly Friend Camper... All
my tracks with foreign characters in the Folder/Album name/Artist
name/Track Name are back in the mix. Still have not played with the new

When I restart Squeezebox Server it says I have to restart because of
new plugins. When I restart the server the Sugarcube directory is gone!

I have SC 7.3.3 and SugarCube 1.9 gamma but I'm still facing standard
shuffle problems.
The SugarCube Plugin is active (ticked in plugin preferences) but
disabled via Extra menu. But I still can't enable the normal shuffle
mode. If I disable the plugin (and restart the server) the shuffle

number of versions of SC with few problems .I installed SugarCube from
the Repository using Extension Down loader. I can't seem to get it to

This doesn't work for me. I just installed it on my OSX music server
(a Mac Mini, fully updated with OSX 10.5 and SlimServer 7.3.3).
i have almost the same setup as you and it works fine. try restarting
musicip and the squeezecenter server. check to see if you can change the
settings in the spicefly plugin. if you can customize the plugin it
should work.

Yes i think so, but if you used the archive option with genpuid then
the scan would not take long since most of the work
as long as mip headless has access to the .m3lib file the answer is no.

that's off is the coming up next. It displays in the lower left

just discovered MusicIP (apparently a little late ...) and installed
Spicefly SugarCube onto 7.3.4 - 27488, and now it seems the default
shuffle function is broken :-(
I like to use this function mainly when I want to play one specific
genre, and get nothing else in the mix. Without
Shuffle will break the integrity of the mixing from the seed track. If
you want a Random Mix then the Random Mix plugin is probably more
useful. :) However I am planning to add it as an option shortly.

I also just noticed a strange behavior in SugarCube. If I click the
progress bar on the Web UI player panel to Fast-Forward within the
