Try changing the Custom Browse menu configuration so you write
COMPOSERSORT instead of Composersort in the sorting tag name.
If this doesn't help, install Database Query plugin and run the Custom
Scan Statistics query and post the result, it should list exactly which

Don't you get more rows in the report ?
If Custom Scan has been used you should get rows like:
Number of songs with attributes from customtag 2474
Number of songs with attributes from mixedtag 3495
And rows like:
Number of songs with customtag attributes of type MOOD
Strange, that's all there was as far as I can see!

I've just been trying to do a rescan in the Custom Scan plugin
settings. It just seems to hang there and never finish. I've also tried

I think it's caused by a bug I accidentally introduced in one of the
latest Custom Scan versions, it should hopefully be fixed in the
2.8.3563 version of Custom Scan which I just released. Let me know if
this new version doesn't solve your issues.

I've been using Custom Browse successfully for a couple of years. The
other day I was forced to re-install Windows 7 and hence SBS (7.5.4).
I copied the prefs over. Custom Scan seems to be working OK (all my
custom tags are populated), but my Custom Browse menus say No matching
songs, albums or
If you haven't done it already, could you try to restart Squeezebox
Server and then look in the log immediately after the startup to see if
you see any errors ?
