Thanks very much. What baffled me was that I was modifying the 'track'
object, since that is what I understood was being displayed, but even
minor text changes didn't display, even though if I got the SQL wrong I
get error messages.

I have tried something else which appears to have done the trick. I set
the 'behaviour' to 'treat multi-disc sets as a single album'. The order
for this album is now correct.

can I get the disc number onto the song info details (when I click on
the track). I have various extra custom tag fields displayed (eg Work,
Movement), but Disc isn't a custom tag, so I how can I get a field from

Using the setting treat multiple disc sets as 1 album the DISC number
now appears, even when = 1, when included in the title format, provided
the album is a multi-disc set. It is still empty for a single disc
album. This is an improvement over what I had before (which was that
when disc = 1 it
I am using Custom Browse and Custom Scan, with the Classical menus which
include tags Work and Movement.
My standard Title Format is Composer - Artist - Title. This has
worked for everything in the past, but for some reason is giving me
problems with a few Albums. I changed it to exclude

I have tried changing the title format to be TITLE - COMPOSER - ARTIST
, and for this Album I get the order as below:

Which menu template are you using ? Could you post the *.cb.values.xml
