Well, you're not alone. Not connected to WiFi has about an 80-90%
share among the iPeng problem reports

Hi
I have the same problem.
IPeng ver 1.0
Squeezecenter ver. 7.0
No player connected.
I've tried to add the server manually without luck.
I have a NAS server and can connect to the Squeezecenter from the
Safari browser from the IPhone.
I have tryed to add the server manually with the same URL
If you are using port 9000, try to enter just the ip or URL:
Server.local
Instead of
Http://server.local:9000
You are sure a player is connected to the server, aren't you?

Ok thanks. I will try this when I come back home from work.
Yes I'am sure the player is connected to the server. Music is playing
fine when i'am using the duet remotecontroller.

What kind of NAS server?
Are you sure it uses port 9000? Some NAS servers have upnp players that

It's a Synology 207+, and I get to the squeezecenter on my pc and on the
safari browser on the IPhone with URL Http://192.168.1.103:9000
Maybe IPeng don't work when squeezecenter is installed on the a NAS ??

No. I've got at least one beta tester who's happily using
I use my IPENG on a ReadyNAS Duo running SC 7.2.1 and it works
perfectly. So in general, use with a NAS is not an issue. I wouldn't
expect it to be. the NAS is just a computer without a keyboard or
screen. As long as SC is running I don't know why IPeng would care what
it was running on

I found out that my version of SSODS uses the same port (9090) as the
CLI.
The latest version of SSODS uses port 9099.
So I will try to upgrade SSODS to get the problem solved.

No matter what I do it says: No player connected.

So the Squeezebox plyer is connected to the mac?
Are you sure it is not connected to SqueezeNetwork?
What happens when you open up the SqueezeCenter Web interface (through
yourmac:9000)?
Did iPeng find the server? You know that when you can actually browse
the library (you don't need a player for
Hi there. Thanks for the quick reply. Here are some answers to your
questions:
I can access and control the Squeezebox via softqueeze or
squeezecenter. I can control the Squeezebox witht the slim device
remote as well.
IPENG doesn't find the server even if I enter it manually within IPENG

I also downloaded two different version of IPENG and made sure it was

You don't need any plugins to run the iPeng application on the iPhone.
Having said that, it won't stop the application from working.
You need to
Yes that works for me.

What happens if you tap one of the icons at the bottom (Artists, Albums
