I too was running into problems over the past week or two.
MusicIP (debian 1.8 headless) would hang half way through analyzing. It
would stay on the same number of tracks for while then it would stop
working and need to be restarted. It would still be running on some
level, but would spit out
Does anyone else have problems validating/analyzing songs using MIP
server within the last couple of days? I ripped some new music and as I
have been doing for the last few months added them into the MIP database
and tried running the analysis on them, but it isn't analyzing any of
the tracks.
GenPUID is still working fine on this end.

I've recently had several times the past 2-7 days when genpuid has taken
a long time to finish analyzing an album. It will move through all the
tracks at 10-20 seconds/track, and then sometimes the last track or two
will take 5-10 minutes, followed by another long pause before it finally
writes
MusicIP would not analyze for me in Ubuntu a few days ago but I was able
to analyze and fingerprint in XP(dual boot) although it seemed to take a
long time for just 11 songs. MusicIP hasn't been working in Ubuntu for
me for a while in fact
