Dear Forum,
I have installed the Squeezecenter on a My Book external hard drive
who is supposed to be a free standing hard disk device wireless
independent from the Computer. I also keep the music library at the My
book (1 Terabyte space, he he. :-) ).
Current System Description;
1) My book
The WD MyBook seems to only have an ARMv5 processor at 200MHz and 32MB
of ram.
That's just too little to run the latest version of SC.
You might be able to run Slimserver 6.3 on this but nothing newer.
However if you want to use the new Squeezebox Duet you need SC 7.0.
My advice: run SC on your

I think slimpy is right though. SC7 is too big a mouthful for the WD.
