I need to write some control point similar to your PDA control. Will
appriciate if you can give me a link to CLI documentation.
It's installed with the slimserver: have a look at the help section in the
server's web interface.

I'm disappointed there's no way to make this work on Palm OS. My Treo
and I would be s happy to have this functionality.
And I'm happy I can offer a solution for at least three important
platforms, plus a few more less important.

For me, when I search I (think I) get entries, but they are all

I'd rather say you were able to click non existent entries. This was a
bug: I was too optimistic and did not check boundaries. If there was at

I'll add to the waiting list for a Nokia 770 version. Are there
technical obstacles in trying to get that one off the ground?
I think it's the author's time... he's already maintaining eight
platforms, and does not have a 770. But I'm sure he'd be happy if you
could give him a helping hand.
That's an excellent song you have displayed in the screen capture!
Julee Cruise is great.
Hmm... that soundtrack is about all I know about her. I'll have to check
her out on Pandora ;-)

I just uploaded a slightly enhanced and bug fixed version to my site.
How about a right-click interface for the playlist screen, that brings
up a menu:
Not quite there yet, but you can already double click a playlist entry to
play it immediately.
How about an option to hide the cmd window
What about Palm? I have a Sony CLIE TH-55.
The inevitable question... I'm sorry, Palm is not supported :-(. There's
no native runtime of Ewe available for the Palm platform, nor a Java VM
capable of running Ewe.

It's working great on my cingular 8125.
Cool! I never had the chance to test it on a PocketPC - and now most of
you are successfully using that untested platform :-)

Is there a way to launch smartremote without opening another command

Excellent! It took me ~10 minutes (including downloading Ewe) to get it
working with my Axim and control my SoftSqueeze player.
Wow, well done :-). I'm glad it's working - I did not have the chance yet
to test it on a PocketPC. I mainly developped on Windows and tested on
Linux (SlimCD :-))
