Sorted the problem out, by accident, the sleep button at top right of SS
remote cycles through 15min increments to the

I like the SS Transporter default skin, what's underneath doesn't really
bother me as long as it plays my music files. Also, I really dislike the
stunted Duet handset style of the Squeezeplay desktop app - I have a
real hatred for Duets, of all the Squeezeboxes I've owned that's the one
that gave

Having spoken to Richard T I now realise you're the custodian of the
No, I'm not :-)
Softsqueeze repository on SourceForge, so you must have an above average
familiarity with the SS application?
Might be. But only because the average knowledge is close to zero.
Ralphy might be a better

Softsqueeze repository on SourceForge, so you must have an above average
familiarity with the SS application?

But that keyhole still is much larger and more colourful than
Softsqueeze has ever been, isn't it?

Installed Squeezeplay out of curiosity, it's like looking at LMS through
a keyhole...
Only change is upgrade in Softsqueeze, from 3.8, due to upgrade in Mac
mini and OSX from 32bit early machine to newer i5 64bit machine.
Maybe it's time to say goodbye to Softsqueeze. It hasn't been updated
for years, has it? And it never worked as reliably as Squeezeplay to
start with.

LMS lives on a ReadyNas 102 where it's been for several years without
issues.

You misunderstand my problem, it's Softsqueeze that goes to sleep(stops
playing) and not the Mac mini...
Where's LMS living? Could it be LMS is going to sleep?

You need to run Squeezeplay with the following Automator bash
Installed Softsqueeze 3.9.2 on Mac mini running High Sierra 10.13.6 and
when playing music Softsqueeze will go to sleep after one song or after
a varying period of time.
How do I disable/switch off this sleep function?
