Are there any plans to integrate something similar to MusicIP into the
server or to license the technology? I ask because I really like the
functionality but the MusicIP software has some problems that are
rather hard to avoid (mainly it seems to ignore files whose names

I think it has to be #1, since AMS owns the rights to MusicIP. Also, it
would (should) make it less quirky than having it as a separate program
(I still have issues maintaining linkage).

Maybe not even back burner, but perhaps cold storage.
Unless the company decides that doing this would be a feature with
broad appeal (which I personally doubt), I can't see this ever

There's no reason at all MiP will stop working with SBS unless something
gets broken accidentally or otherwise on the Logitech side. You're
still able to analyze new tracks, integration with Musicbrainz still
works etc, so the only thing we're effectively stuck with is the lack of
introduction

As I've understood all developers that knows the MusicIP source code has
left the company, so the development of MusicIP is halted and has been
so for a while.
