In the last week or so I've been getting the occasional situation where
Spotify tracks don't play continuously, i.e. when playing an album, a
track finishes but the next track doesn't automatically start.
I'm wondering if this is to do with the new gapless playback feature in
Spotify - I read

That would definately stop actions completing such as the case you have
highlighted. However that suggests $log is not defined and this is the
pluggins' log. Can you set plugin.spotify logging to debug and see
entries relating to spotify activity in the main server
Hello, I hope someone can help me on this? A few days ago I registered
for a Spotify Premium account for streaming music to my Squeezebox

Squeezebox and NAS are all part of my home network (wired and

Yes: I see many entries of spotify activity in the main server log when

It's intermittent but here's one from a moment ago:

Thx for the quick reply. I made a printscreen of the Helper App Logfile,
see the attachment file.

Can you set the helper app log level to debug and retry. I suggest
just pasting in the text rather than print screen as it is easier to
read.

For some reason the helper app is restarting after every request to

this says. (You may need to set the logging level for plugin.spotify

I'm not sure what you mean here. These are not unplayable tracks, it's

Can you check that there is only one instance of the plugin installed -
i.e. that you don't have both automatic and manual versions. It looks

It is working! Thank you so much, you sure helped me out. This thread is
