I have the same problem. Everything is updated. I can play older spotify
playlists, but not new ones without the error. I also can't play any
searched artists or albums.

Good to know I am not the only one. Does Triode check these forums? I
did the plugin test and half the time it stalls after a bit on the test
play.

I did it with the help of my UNIX-knowing wife. So then I initiated
installation of LMS7.9 and i got Failed to install. So, maybe i need
to uninstall
I have the same problem.
Only the Spotify Radio stream is working.

I'm seeing same issue. Can play old playlists, but nothing I currently
search for. Also notice that in the windows spotify app, I can't add and
album to a new playlist. I can add track at a time (and ultimately play
those in LMS Spotify). Something is definitely off

I get a bizzare transient error when I try to search or play recently
added playlists. I can play older spotify playlists, but it is buffering
out more often. Did something change recently? My own music plays fine.
