Thanks. I'll do this later. It happens in the Qobuz menus, not seen much
trouble with SmartMix. I'll take and post logs later, let's see of I can
reproduce it at will

The Squeezebox Radio seems to be able to handle 24/48 without problems.
24/88 seems reasonably stable and even 24/96 works, although it does run
into buffering problems occasionally, so I would not call it stable.
This was only a short test, so in now way conclusive. I think with a
@flyserver I have LMS 7.9 that is also what I would like to keep. I

You can try "sudo cpan
I have been watching the developments here for quite a while, and now I
think it is time to try it out but I can not get the plugin to load into
LMS. I enter
http://sourceforge.net/projects/lms-youtube/files/dev/repo-sf.xml into
"Additional Repositories" apply, and restart the NAS. The plugin

Thanks for very quick reply! Is there anything back through the thread
that describes how to install IO:Socket::SSL using CPAN? If there is I
will trawl back and find it, otherwise it is unfortunately lost on me!

To some extend yes, but this is a bit too much extra for me currently

I thought LMS was compensating during its own install as HTTPS is pretty

It should be available on Debian:

I'm using an off-the-shelf Debian installation on Intel hardware, so I
think you may be assuming that more distributions have it than actually
do.

Guess this doesn't get installed by default. I just added the package
from the Debian repository and we're all good now.
I know people have said that upgrading to 7.9 nightly has solved

Thanks, Michael. But shouldn't plugins install additional packages they
require as a general rule? I've never had to go and install any
third-party packages before when installing

Thanks - there have been a lot of delicate changes in this version, so I
hope it will be fine. Some of the limitations to handle wav, aiff and
pcm are removed which mean that uncompressed could be the only mode for
the ones who

it must be in the LMS distribution. Some Linux don't have hit (some NAS)

Thanks you Michael, I will have to test it as soon as Qobuz will enable
hi-res streaming without having to buy it first !

Thanks Phillipe. Yes I do have meatdata enabled but definitely not
working in flac. I suspect it may be a limitation of the Revo as it
doesn't show when playing tracks from
With 2.5.0 I've been playing flacs (24/48000) on my Marantz, which can't
do gapless so has 'Player handles "next track"' set to 'no'.
With flcs, there seems to be a noticeable sound 'blip' at the end of
each track. If I change to pcm (wav) it seems less prominent. This may
all just be in my
