There is a secondary issue with BBC wqhere multiple tries are need to

It seems the BBC are not fully up to speed after the hack - often http
requests have to be retried before a good response is returned. I

Hi guys
I've had this problem for a while, but it's time I finally try to sort
it out! I have my LMS (7.9.0 - 1425992829) running on a QNAP TS 219-P.
The main web interface page shows the alert that there are plugin
updates available, and when I follow the link to the plugins page I can
see that
Philippe, many thanks for this plugin.
I have it working for my Chromecast TV dongle for audio, but no artwork
or artist & track information appears on the TV screen; these fields
appear but are blank.
Can you provide any pointers?
TIA.

Thanks; I removed the password and the metadata appears.
But: it doesn't update when the track changes on e.g. Radio

This is test version of a plugin and if you are using it - please help
with its testing and give lots of details.
Were you testing BBCiPlayerExtra in previous post or BBCiPlayer

If I select this recipe in Advanced->Smartmix (bringing me to the
Blender), I get a good selection (quickly), and clicking Play This Mix
(on the Blender) plays as expected.
When you play from the blender, are the tracks played found in your
library or playing through some music service? Can

Triode BBCiPlayer plugin stopped working Feb 2015 has been patched many
times since so If you are seeing an update is waiting I'm guessing you

Hello Philippe44,
Thank you for you message.
Finally, I desactivated the volume control and it works.
I already had this kind of problem with this player.

Hello Philippe,
at first thank you very much for this great plugin. I had UPnP/DNLA
bridge running successfully on Daphile (last official version from
December 8) together with the Bridge II of my PSA DS DAC. To be honest,
I have bought the Bridge II just for one reason, to make the DS DAC to a

The BBC internet radio services are still in a mess and many valid
requests are being refused. If the Applet was workgin before Christmas
- then I'd wait andnot do anything until BBC sorts out their issues.

First of all: update to the latest 7.9.0 build. The one you're running
is 9+ months old.
If that doesn't help: shut down LMS, rename
Free as in free trial?
It didn't make any difference for me at the time, but to enjoy Qobuz on
your Squeezebox you'll need (at least) a Premium subscription.

The "retries" issue has confused things. I think the BBC have slowed
down http responses (i.e. return nothing for about 2 in 3 valid
requests) in order to deal with the DDOS attack. I assumed it was a
change in interface and when I looked I saw

This is normal and due to the way live stream work. All players (CC or
UPnP), accept to

Not a range, but the 1st available port starting from 49152. You can
have a pre-defined port use by using the "Network Socket to use" in the
setting options (just set ":x" where is the port number,
without the

I think remember that. I'll see if I can find back the modification I

Thanks for the recent DSM6 betas; been running the one for the DS111 for

Hi.
I would like to stream audio from my ipad via airplay to airserver on my
mini and then pipe it through soundflower + waveinput into LMS.
Anybody got something similar working? Or do you at least have a working
download URL for the waveInput plugin so I can try myself?
Thank you.
I decided to remove the manual install of Squeezelite and installed the
'Local Player' plug-in via LMS. Can't believe I didn't know that was an
option. From the Settings page I can change drivers easily. That side of
thing seems OK now but I still can't get MP3 or Spotify working using
either the
