There are multiple reports of the api returning stale data on the 'WeatherAPI forum' (https://apicommunity.wunderground.com/weatherapi). I have the same problem. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] New plugin for audio bookmarks
To deal with the issues with the "skip back" button and the various playlist modes Pippin mentioned, i implemented an additional trigger mechanism. This should enable the plugin to reliably differentiate between "newsong" events of a user moving in the current playlist and those issued by the plugin itself by jumping to the bookmarked track. As a side effect it is now also possible to set the "Threshold" setting to zero if you like. So: When you move in the current playlist (e. g. by pressing "skip back", clicking on the current track, selecting another track etc.) and - you have a threshold value > 0 then the bookmark will be updated after the new track is played for this number of seconds - you have a threshold value of 0 then the bookmark will be updated immediately. Changelist for version 1.2.12: - "skip back" button no longer jumps back to the bookmarked positions - Clicking on the currently played track in the playlist now restarts the track from the beginning - "Repeat track" mode now works - Fixed bookmarks for playlists now work with all "Power On Resume" modes of the client - If a repeat mode is activated for a client, the bookmark will not be deleted when the playback reaches the end of the last track of an album or playlist - If you like you can now set "Threshold" and/or "Jump back" settings to "0" Sorry that this took a while - lack of time. I tried to test the update with local albums/playlists/remote tracks in various play modes, but as always: Please let me know if you find any issues i missed. sternenjaeger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57562 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102859 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

My problems were at about 08:50 this morning. When I got home this evening just before the 21:00 news it was fine, though I could only stand listening to Radio 2 in the evening for about 15 minutes to check it was OK (after 7pm Radio 2 mutates into a different radio station). Yes, or load. If the server doesn't respond for 30s or so a player will disconnect. That really should not be, iPeng only switches players if the one it's been using becomes unavailable so maybe this means one player doesn't have a stable connection to the server. It would have to disconnect for more than 30s or so, though, I believe. Another potential problem is if several of your players use the same MAC, you must not do this, it's a misconfiguration --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer with DASH support - test version
The rebuffering is highly dependent on network load in 1.4.X since each 6 sec chunk requires a tcp connection to be set up. If you are going to get rebuffering it will be at network busy times - where I have measure the problem it has been noticeable at 4:30pm-7:00pm but I'd also expect early morning as well probably between 6:30am and 9:00am but I never got around to measuring that early. The morning after US election there were a more reports of rebuffering who never had rebuffering before. I don't know whether there a big news story today in the UK or perhaps weather problems affecting network. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104672 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Interesting. I didn't know I could get On Demand through BBCiPlayer. I've always used Extras for that. BBC makes experimental changes some of which I can't see because they are UK only. The CDN may also have changed. So Is your R2 problem with R2 live or on demand. Does it happen with HLS or just with DASH ? On Windows with WHS (i.e probably small processor up to 2Mb RAM) looks like a suitable candidate for 1.5.* mainly because it is aimed at fixing rebuffering on live streams which predominantly affected Windows platforms. If you get rebuffering on HLS - then it is definitely a Windows problem. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104672 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

That's one I'm getting "Playlist Empty" when I try to > connect On Demand. (I'm in the UK.) Unlikely to be coincidence. Please be more exact about settings and how you play programs. Give details of problem settings and how you tried to play the program. R2 19th Nov can be played via BBciPlayer Extra or via BBCiPlayer. For example, If it is via VBBCiPlayerExtra then it can be access through at least 3 menus each of which have a differernt source and so could each have a different problem. The BBCiPlayerExtra uses unofficial fields from BBC Browser based player which only support DASH and Flash AAC - so if your BBCiPlayer OnDemand does not have FlashAAC or DASH - you will get nothing. Also if you have checked the BBCiPlayerExtra box to exclude DASH and you do not have FlashAAC - then no program will be played. I've never had trouble with the Dash iPlayer, it's worked for me ever since bpa introduced it. Streaming 320kbps Dash in the UK. But suddenly this morning Radio 2 dies after less than 30 seconds, it just goes into rebuffering and never recovers. Running v1.4.9. I have changed nothing locally that I am aware of.
