I am having troubles when using the Desktop version of Material Skin on
mobile devices in Chrome based browsers (Chrome, Opera, Brave etc.):
The Spotty search box disappears behind the upper parts of the screen
when you start typing. It is impossible to see what you are doing and it
is not

Well done for working around the buffering issue.
I did replace (clear) the Alexa buffer on starting a new command, but,
as you point out, once people add songs via other routes then I no
longer had control and while things worked it was not a great user
experience (e.g. song titles in LMS UI
Thanks to valuable help from Paul Webster and Michael Herger, I've got a
working latency-free targeting of an Amazon Echo as a playback device
for LMS. You can see a first demo of it here:

I've been testing it from a clone of the MediaServer skill called

Nope, I would assume that I've made a mistake and re-check. My

Thanks Paul. I already have next and previous working, see
https://youtu.be/YlHFjdE5Ge4. Here, you can see the effect of not having
to first create the Web Client (it's only done for the first song). Next
and previous just modify the LMS playlist and clear the Echo song queue
after the change.
Thanks for your help.
My personal experience with Apple products is that they are constantly
changing the way their systems work in order to keep people from piggy
backing on their products.
I had similar experience with trying to use MediaMonkey to copy my
personal music files onto my iPhone.

On both my Touch and my Radio, the current weather from SuperDateTime
v5.9.56 hasn't changed since late yesterday afternoon. It's showing the
same temperature now as it did last night. And the temp has definitely
changed. Also the next four day's forecasts are very different than what

While the podcast issue is not socketwrapper related - I think this
thread

may be another manifestation of the same problem i.e. losing the last
chunk of data when coming from STDIN

I created a file "it.json" with italian translation of strings.
I uploaded the file in the html/lang directory
Code:
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/MaterialSkin/HTML/material/html/lang
$ ls

I'm still looking at the suggested change. However I am not a spotty
user and I would like to understand how socketwrapper is being used with
Spotty.
When spotty is being run on Windows with socketwrapper - is there a "-i"
command line option used on the socketwrapper command line ? I think

You're correct - some smart dude at Apple thought that it would be a
good idea to change something again at the fringe of AirPlay
specifications at the occasion of an iOS release. I don't know what yet
and I don't know if there is a workaround.
