That's a pity! So, we have to convince the TVH people to expand their
API - I guess a hopeless undertaking, as there is almost no development

You're right. One lower/upper case letter made all the difference.
Should work now though. Sorry.

I installed spotty on my lms (running on a raspberry pi 4, picore).
I am able to use my squeezebox touch as a Spotify connect player, but
the audio is recorded as pcm and autoplay doesnt work.
I then installed spotty helper, but that broke spotty: my touch
doesnt show up as Spotify connect

I think I already found that out the hard way :D
My current solution will work fine for my usecase, people can push my
doorbell as many times as they like while my HA controller is playing a
TTS
How can I get it to work? Do I need to install the helper plug-in or is
that not required?
You've asked the same questions over in the 4.5 thread already, and I
answered there.

Spotty would stream PCM rather than Ogg if you had volume normalization
enabled. But don't worry. It won't hurt the sound quality.

No, it makes no such claim. The need for -wlanpoke- is likely to be the
same on both community

This is an error with MaterialSkin - I guess its not handing the
response correctly, i.e. not showing the correct error

Thanks! Successfully installed from the repo this morning.
Thank you for doing this. I've been hoping someone would take this on.

I think I still see volume set to 50% occasionally.
Some log file covering the event might be helpful. Eg. this used to be a
50% issue, but recently became a 49% issue...

But autoplay is not working (I can still start a daily mix or something
else and that works).
How did you test autoplay?
I must admit that this is probably poorly tested, as I hardly ever use
Connect - and rely on DSTM for LMS mode.

For those that have updated to this version, can you share your

changing an unusual character to a - and by adding composer where known
(I think) in the form
Artist - Title - Composer
Any chance you could implement a settings switch to disable -
Composer when a user doesnt
