I love this plugin, but unfortunately MIP can not be installed on my Sheevaplug. So I was thinking, is it possible for this plugin to decode the MIP analysis of the track which has been written to the tag? If that is the case, I can run MIP on my windows desktop and write the analysis the the tags and let Sugarcube on my Sheeva do the mixing. Interesting - that log is different to the previous log and the last few lines indicate that BBC is sending Audio back to your SBS. So the problem is either intermittent network quality/connection or SBS. Any idea what was changed between reboots - any updates applied to any part of the system ? Can you do a log with plugin.bbciplayer.rtmp set to INFO and player.source set to INFO. Hopefully this should show up any SBS problems. Ronald;506222 Wrote: what does flushing the cache do and when exactly do you use it? It clears internally stored lists of albums, artists and genres as well as the album art thumbnails. You use it, when that information gets out of sync with the server. The only case where this can happen is usually if you do a Clear and Rescan on the server without changing anything WRT your library so the numbers stay the same and you then restart the server before starting iPeng the first time. There are users who do this on a daily basis. Using ipeng lately has been irregular and many times I would have to exit ipeng and re-connect to get the proper indications of the players status. This has nothing to do with the cache. It sounds more like you are having trouble with the connection to the server breaking down. I know of a few scenarios where this can happen: 1. First and most common: There seems to be an issue with certain routers ans WiFi connections to iPhone. I have a number of users reporting similar things where these did go away when they changed the router. This seems to be more common on iPhone and I suspect is has to do with the iPhone trying to use the 3G network instead of WiFi. 2. You simply have an unstable connection to the router. I have trouble like that with one of my devices although Safari seems to be more affected. It's easy to identify since iPhone/iPod doesn't show a Wifi enabled icon in the status bar. 3. iPeng's NowPlaying screen seems to sometimes lose the connection to the underlying player object when you switch between different music sources and the player is visible in both configurations (this can happen if all servers are on the same network where players on other servers are shown, too). I'm investigating this one. 4. iPod/iPhone can sometimes be slow to reconnect to the WiFi network after a wakeup from sleep mode. In the cases of 1. and 4. it can help to use the keep connection option in the iPeng settings. This will keep iPeng running in the background and iPeng will keep the connection. On iPod touch 3G (and only on that one) I still see occasional WiFi shutdowns even though the App itself is still running, which should not be the case. Hope this helps a bit. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SuperDateTime stopped working ?
As expected weather.com phased a new web page layout. I'm in the process of correcting the parsing. It's a tedious process... I'll try to have an updated version posted as soon as possible, but this plugin is more of a hobby to me and my normal job and responsibilities come first. I hope you understand. For those anxious to get some data appearing, I've attached my current plugin.pm file. It contains *some* updated parsing. No support is provided, you need to be more of an 'expert' user to know what to do with it... No matter what city or citycode I enter, the plugin continues to receive data for the default city (whichever that is). Other settings, like metric and wind info, do update though. Why is this? I've tried removing the plugin - cleaning out all plugin related data on drive - reinstalling. Still no go. Ideas anyone, please? I'm running SB server v7.4.1 (r28947) and WeatherTime v2.2.2. Stopped working for me too. Only weather icon and time showing. Running SC 7.2.1 and SDT 5.8.7. I know I need to upgrade SC to 7.4 and as well update SDT but I'm running some specialized code for displaying track/album art info on my TV that I know SC 7.4 will break. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube (Automatic MusicIP DJ)
Ignoring that this is off topic for SugarCube :) What version of genpuid and MusicIP are you using? It could be you are using a newer version of genpuid compared to your MusicIP version. So they are writing different stuff into the m3lib. MusicIP 1.9b6 was the last (for now?) version, go into the preferences and set it to write the fingerprints into the files (archive analysis) and bite the bullet of allowing it to run until completion, leave it running and go on holiday :) Then your files are done and the fingerprints will be inside your music files and wont need to be re-fingerprinted again even if you delete your m3lib file in the future. -- cparker www.spicefly.com - Visit for an enhanced Interface for MusicIP and integration tips and tricks, Plugin coding tips, Spicefly SugarCube the MIP AutoDJ plugin and SpiceyWeather an animated weather forecast plugin! cparker's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2083 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49226 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

If someone who is experiencing problems with version 1.5 and the volume control would like to help debug it, please pm me. I don't have the problem with my setup but I know others do. -- Aesculus Chris Aesculus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Same problem here. Glad I'm not the only one! ;-) I'll tell the wife and kids to calm down and that help is on the way.
