Seems like some managed to get SqueezePlay working. Anything extra needed? I have Spotify working on a Boom, but the SqueezePlay just plays silence (though everything else seems to work, like covers and other track information). Could it be that it is a 64 bit server? Forgive perhaps my silly questions, but I have no experience with Ipod Touch/Iphone and how it handles applications. I am considering getting either Controller or an Ipod Touch w/Ipeng. I am gravitating towards the latter. I'd like to use the Ipod pretty much exclusively as a Squeezebox controlling device. Is it possible to have Ipeng be always there on the screen whenever I pick up the Ipod? Also is it possible to have it keep displaying the current 'Now Playing' information (as long as there is something playing)? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Skip isn't working
When I goto ExtrasCustom Skip Click 'Edit' under Default Filter Click 'Create a new filter item' Click 'Short songs' Now under 'Edit filter item parameters' I should have options. But all I have is a 'Save' button. The name of the filter isn't coming thru. So if I click 'Save' I get: Error: Filename must end with .cs.xml Which I have no options. Any ideas? Thanks! Thank you very much for quick response. Yep, I'd definitely get a dock. Although the battery drainage side effect would still be a bummer for those occasions I'd leave it outside the dock :( When playback stops, could Ipeng shut off the display (not just make it black) and perhaps shut off the wifi in order to conserve battery? I.e. not full sleep (which I think you are referring to), but close enough. If so, what have you changed that made it stop working ?
Have you configured a filter directory in SBS Settings/Plugins/Custom
Skip settings page ?
The sequence you describe works in my own setup but I'm using 7.5.2
nightly.

No, it's never worked. I tried it on 7.5.1, then upgraded to 7.6, then downgraded cuz i thought it was effecting the plugin. Had the same problem, but wanted to upgrade to 7.6. I have a directory configured. Any other ideas? This is on the internet so you can look at it if you want. Are there any errors in the server.log file ?
You will find it through the Squeezebox Server web interface in SBS
Settings/Advanced/Logging
Is it the same for all filter item types or is it just Short Songs
that doesn't work ?
Is the filter set active ? It should say something like this at the top
of the Custom Skip page in the web interface:
Active filter set: Default Filter Set
Where Default Filter Set is the name of the filter set you have
activated.

Phew! For a while there were no mentions of SDT not working for people; I thought I was the only one! I removed and then re-added the plugin to no effect. I also tried several different WUnderground stations as well as different weather.com zip codes. WUnderground is working for me but not weather.com. I just realized that I didn't set SDT to properly display WUnderground data. I changed it and it works now! Hopefully we'll get weather.com back soon though. So, not possible to use with clock alarm. 2) a SQL playlist . In this case, there is no parameter, so it can be used in clock alarm. But, when I want to play it, I have a message : NO songs. Why ?
