Playback with iPeng or Squeezepad only works if the server and client are on the same network. Apologies if this question has been asked before, but I can't see it anywhere. I have an SB touch, and iPeng (with player) on an iPod touch. SBS (7.6.1) is on a PC. Individually, the SB touch and iPeng player work fine. iPeng also controls the SB touch OK. However, if I try to synchronize, say, the SB touch to something that is playing on the iPod, everything hangs - no music anywhwere, although the screen (and web control) says it is playing. Un-synchronize and it works again. It only seems to be a problem with synchronizing iPeng and SB touch(I can synchronize Squeezeplayer on the PC to the SB touch or to iPeng fine). Frustrating. The Plugin screen doesn't show the Synchronizer being available. I had it up and running under 7.5, but somewhere along the line it just dropped off the list. I'm trying 7.7 (Logitech Media Server - beta) now. Are you running a Squeezebox Server on a computer or only the one built
into the Touch ?
I think some people have had problems to get the configuration dialogs
to work with only the built-in server in the Touch.
If that's an option, you can try to temporarily install a SBS on a
computer during the configuration and turn it off or even uninstall it
after you have configured Custom Clock. I suspect there is some kind of
bug causing this, but I haven't had the time to look into it yet.

If you haven't done so already, browse to My Music/Albums just before
you enter the Custom Clock settings menu to make sure your Touch isn't
connected to mysqueezebox.com.
If it still doesn't work, you can try to install Custom Clock Helper
plugin in the SBS, it shouldn't be required but maybe there is a bug
somewhere there too.
