I have three vortexbox servers, two capable of ripping CDs. But I don't

ripper to match a rip back to the ACCURATERIP database (AR).**

Daphile supports accuraterip and drive offsets. Also makes a good

Looks interesting. Apart from accuraterip other Pros cons ?

I've got SB and Sonos players with LMS running on Windows 7 so I've run
the app, it has recognised the Sonos players, I've edited the config
file, installed LAME, LMS recognises the Sonos players but when I play a
(mp3) track, there is no sound.
Is there any log/debug info to figure out what

@maynard999: I played around with my DAC to get the crossfeed and
lowpassfilter working. But I rather can hear a big difference when
adjusting its values. What you can actually do to test the crossfeed
setting with your DAC:
adjust the part of the /etc/asound.conf file where the headphonesplug
I am trying to load 3rd party plugin triode 2.3.9 on LMS 7.7.5 running
on Odroid U3, using Max2play package. I have a spotify premium account
and had this running on a previous installation. When I select enable
on the plug in, LMS comes up with a reboot button. I reboot and it does
not take -

Is there an option to turn off automatic updates of plugins?
Hmmm ... at the bottom of the Plugins page there is a checkable box
update plugins automatically
One would think if the box were unchecked, the plugin would not update.
@chippy - can you confirm that this option is

You should probably stop and exit LMS -before- you unzip/overwrite the

What version of SDT are you using? There are now two versions - one by
BoomX2 and one by tcutting. Both of which have version numbers higher
In the UK the Fire TV is c£70. If you add the price of a raspberry Pi,
case, power cable, SD card and a cheap USB DAC eg Behringer UAC 202 it's
about the same. I'd say the Fire is a fair bit superior hardware wise
albeit you can't run LMS on it only SB Player.
The pre built Pi's with DAC are over

Sensible suggestion - unfortunately didn't work though.
When I start the server, the prompt to update plugins is there. Any
reboot and the SDT folder is deleted from the Plugins folder.
Is there an option to turn off automatic updates of plugins?
Yep - I fact I've tried unchecking both of those boxes without success.
I should point out that, although LMS reports that plugin updates are
available, when I get to the plugin screen there are no plugins that
appear to be requesting an update - but I immediately see the pop up
dialog box
There is already a plugin for Bookmarks from KDF
(http://code.google.com/p/kdfplugins/downloads/list) , but this is
unmaintained now for a couple of years and doesn't work on newer players
(i. e. Radio or Touch).
I always wanted a feature like this because i listen a lot to radio
dramas / audio

One final plea -- any way you could put this up in a repository in the

I know about this one, but no digital output.
Yes and there is as well the COMPATIBILITY file that should help
choosing parameters. The only parameter Sonos really requires is that
stream length set to a value like 10. Having said that., Sonos
works also with flac and pcm, you do not have to use MP3 BUT Sonos does
not accept sample
