This is a pre-release or Beta release of the Weather.com version of SDT
that contains the fix for College Football scores. It also improves
handling of finished NFL games that went into overtime.
The JSON file I'm pulling data from always contains all games from all
conferences, so there is no
- Search now accepts multi-byte strings (chinese char)
- Cache flush option removed
- Channels and Playlists can be added to favorites
- Skip videos w/o a thumbnail (they are private or deleted)
- (B) play/add on a channel/playlist was limited to 1st 50 items
- (B) on LMS < 7.9 playlist played
I'm running LMS on Odroid U3, so it's a Debian/ARM version. I can try
modifying the code. But the stuttering happens only on Squeezebox
Classic/Radio hardware, not my Raspberry Pi players. I would have
thought that you'd have to modify the Firmware to change that. But I'll
see what I can do when
Hmm...Any chance to edit this on a running system, eg already compiled?
Seems a lot of effort to change just one small bit, then compile the
whole thing... ;)

Could you have a look at the message output after Shairtunes2
installation, if there are any errors? Just a guess: maybe you ran out
of free space on your SD-card?

Well, since I just got my order confirmation for the dev. unit

@Squeezemenicely: good to hear! As I only have the latest iOS 8.4.1 for
testing (iPhone 5s), I cannot see any problems yet with iOS 9. But I
will test this tomorrow when it is available for download.

I just started from scratch.
@flysurfer
Problem solved
I downloaded version 2.12 from your website and updated it to 2.20 and
now it worked!
Before I had started with version 2.00 that I had updated to 2.20 -
something must have been missing in that version and it was not updated
during 2.20 update.
Now Shairtunes2

That's why I asked about your server OS: only on Windows there's a
"compiled" version. On all other systems
@Squeezemenicely: you just posted the log file of the squeezebox server.
To see what happens while installing the Shairtunes2 Addon (there might
be some errors), please post the output of the message that pops up
after starting the installation in the Max2Play Web interface (yellow
message box
Whatever it does, it seems to be working. 24/192 streaming still kills
the Radio, but 24/96 did not give me any stutters or rebuffering issues
during a test with several consecutive tracks, some skipping etc.
Only thing I noticed: Controlling things directly on the Radio makes it
go slightly
Ok great!
Now, where do I find that file... ;)

How should I know? You still haven't told me on what kind of system
you've installed LMS...

I had to change the bitrate display because I only know what bitrate is
being used once I got the http headers of the stream. Before that I only
whether it's flac or mp3. Previously I would simply show some static
number. Now it's really calculating file size devided by seconds.

@Michael
Concerning my earlier question about filtering out non-playable
tracks/albums: This seems to be working more or less now. Playlists
don't seem to stop anymore when they hit an unplayable track, but those
tracks still get displayed, then vanish once the PL hits that track and
skips them.

Hi Pippin
Running iPeng 8.2.1 on iPhone and iPad and I am missing the volume
indicator (in percent) when pressing the loudspeaker symbols in Now
Playing screen on the iPad. Is this a bug? Is it gonna be available
soon?
CPU on my Server is fine, less than 1% load. I think I found a fix
though...
I changed the value here: "use constant RETRY_TIME => 0.10;" (was
at 0.4) and now it SEEMS to be working fine with 24/96 streams. I set
the other value (*16) back to it's original value since it did not
help.
What exactly does that setting do btw?

Thanks! It was in "perl5" subfolder. Sadly it doesn't seem to help with
the Squeezebox Radio classic. It buffers and/or stutters quite badly at
24/96 and can barely cope with 24/88. Not sure whether it's the CPU
running out of steam or the network buffers. I'd guess it's buffer
related. It almost

Yes Pippin,
