have been enjoying DSTM since SmartMix died, and tried LastMix as well, but eventually stopped using as i don't have a lastFM account. You don't need a Last.fm account. recently DSTM has stopped working. it appears to be properly installed and enabled, but when an album or playlist ends, nothing happens. i've tried updating LMS, currently using 7.9.0 - 1470912157, on a mac running El Capitain. Michael- any thoughts about what might be happening? You're running an outdated LMS. There was a bug in DSTM which could cause the behaviour you're mentioning. Normally, the helper receives audio from the AirPlay controller (through UDP) and then forwards it (through TCP) to either LMS or the player directly. Here, an overrun happens, where thz received data cannot be pumped out to the Squeezebox fast enough. I've observed it as well, but I'm 90% sure that this is a speed or TCP/IP problem. Clearly, the AirPlay side overflows because the LMS side cannot exhaust data (you see that the player is rebuffering), so it means data is stuck inside the helper. This is a bit technical, but the "send" on the TCP socket blocks for a verrryy long time, likely (this is a blocking socket, so it should block, but not for seconds !). SQUEEZE CONTROL IS NOW A UNIVERSAL WINDOWS PLATFORM (UWP) APP FOR WINDOWS 10. This is also the support thread for this app, but only for the UWP version. On the desktop, mouse control is fully supported and to a certain extent keyboard controls too. There are no device type restrictions on the package and so should work on all Windows 10 devices where apps can be used. I've marked it in the Windows Store as being available to all existing device types including "Holographic" devices (the HoloLens I guess*) and any future device types that Microsoft deems compatible (hopefully the Xbox One). This version has all the same features as the existing Windows Phone 8 version except that it can no longer run under the lockscreen or change the lockscreen picture (API no longer allows it). It also includes some tweaks to bring it closer to parity with the Android version. There are two significant changes: First, the header and footer control bars of the previous version have now switched places. This is how I wanted the Windows Phone 8 version to look, but wasn't able to do so due to limitations of that platform. Second, song downloading is now more flexible. This is a fresh install. Installed last week and went to install disaster123s version but found yours so installed that. Was working fine with version 0.32 then after that. Should I try and remove and start again? It works fine with iTunes off Mac, only issue is with iOS devices. I would really like to use this! Running OS X 10.11.x and LMS 7.9, I'm using v0.19 of the plugin, but it still won't work. I can see all of my Squeeze devices in the AirPlay list, but whenever I try and select one, it doesn't "stick". The music pauses for a sec, then reverts back to iPhone. I'm following the instructions as described in the first post, although I don't know how to "ensure avahi-daemon is configured correctly". Any help is appreciated. The current plugin is not maintained anymore. So we can modify the
current one and make it specific for Synology nas, and store it
somewhere.

Then you could create Airplay devices for all the UPnPs and Chromecasts but stop the recursion. As a third option (maybe easier to manage), maybe you could give the user an option of specifying a string in the Player name which would mean that a ShairTunes player is requested. Say if the player has a name ending in "+AP", then ShairTunes will try to create a speaker from it (and the Airplay bridge would ignore it). I guess this would depend on users having the updated version of the Airport bridge plugin and you might run into some issues with those who don't upgrade. In the past I never had any issues with the disconnection of players. The streaming from the Internet or via music stored on the Windows Home Server where LMS runs was and is always smooth. iTunes off the Mac works as expected however lost artwork which we had before. But the volume slider works, have mins and secs player and it skips forward to next track as expected. Obviously restricted to iOS devices. Version 0.34 semi works for a minute then crashes my LMS. I am on a raspberry pi with latest Jessie and LMS7.9. For the 1 minute it works there is no volume control from my iOS device - well the slider is there but has no effect on my squeeze player. There is no artwork or times (minutes playing that song) on the squeeze player. I can't get rid of the "Plugins have been updated - Restart Required (SmartMix)" message. I have restarted both LMS and the NAS I got it running on several times. I'm running LMS version 7.8.1-1467273631 (20160827) on a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 2 (Intel Atom, Linux-based OS). I -think- that Lastmix may be crashing LMS running on WHS V1 that's been reasonably stable for a while now. Here's the tail end of my server log: I don't see any sign of a crash in that log. In fact those time stamps were from hours ago. Would they even coincide with the crash?
