To deal with the issues with the "skip back" button and the various
playlist modes Pippin mentioned, i implemented an additional trigger
mechanism.
This should enable the plugin to reliably differentiate between
"newsong" events of a user moving in the current playlist and those

My problems were at about 08:50 this morning. When I got home this
evening just before the 21:00 news it was fine, though I could only
stand listening to Radio 2 in the evening for about 15 minutes to check
it was OK (after 7pm Radio 2 mutates into a different radio station).

Using SDT v5.10.25 I'm getting the wrong temperature displayed on my
squeezeboxes. It seems to only be happening at certain times, like in
the early morning and in the evening. Any ideas where I can get started
trying to figure out what the problem is?
Yes, or load. If the server doesn't respond for 30s or so a player will
disconnect. Since the server is single-threaded this can happen on
overloaded systems.

That really should not be, iPeng only switches players if the one it's
been using becomes unavailable so maybe this means one player doesn't
have a stable connection to the server. It would have to disconnect for
more than 30s or so, though, I believe.
Another potential problem is if several of

I have been running IPeng for a long long time, recently I switched to
using max2play on RsPi as my music source.
One thing I have now noticed is that IPeng tends to jump around through
available players with I am trying to select things, i.e. Touch is my
main player, buit when I am looking at
The rebuffering is highly dependent on network load in 1.4.X since each
6 sec chunk requires a tcp connection to be set up. If you are going to
get rebuffering it will be at network busy times - where I have measure
the problem it has been noticeable at 4:30pm-7:00pm but I'd also expect

You are posting on the beta thread so "Man in a Van" is probably using
the latest Extra 1.9.5 which has a few small changes.
Bpa, interesting that man in a van (post 74 above, also in UK) is
successful with my iPlayerExtras route.

Last 7 days only. BBciPlayerExtra gets access to all of iPlayer
programs.

Interesting. I didn't know I could get On Demand through BBCiPlayer.
I've always used Extras for that.
Anyway, I just tried BBCiPlayer as follows: BBCiPlayer>BBC Radio
2>Saturday>08:05 Sounds Of The 60s, and that does play the show. So at
least I know I can use that successfully.
I was trying

Probably because I showed 1.5.* - I don't have 1.4.* online.

I've never had trouble with the Dash iPlayer, it's worked for me ever
since bpa introduced it. Streaming 320kbps Dash in the UK. But suddenly
this morning Radio 2 dies after less than 30 seconds, it just goes into
rebuffering and never recovers. Running v1.4.9. I have changed nothing
locally that

Plays fine for me using both my Windows and QNAP installations of LMS.
I'm in the UK.

Thanks Bpa.
I've fiddled with a few settings for On demand, because there's nothing
exactly as you suggested.
This could be a coincidence, but I'm now getting "Playlist Empty" when I
try to connect to some shows On Demand. To see if it is indeed
coincidence and the Beeb are up to something,
