Finally got around to installing MixCloud and resolving a little issue
with encoding MP4's I had. I noticed however that the MixCloud Track
will not play for very long (a few minutes or so) before it stops. I
checked the log file and find that upon playing a MixCloud track I get

As an experiment, I switched the GGMM device to the Airbridge and played
the same playlist - this works without the stopping issue
Also, the bitrate is 705kbps CBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify) (Converted to
FLAC) which looks 'normal' compared
I have the repack installed on my Synology NAS and I have the media
library set to one modest folder for testing purposes but I'm getting
this any time I try to scan the library:

Much better I think to figure out why you don't see the plugin and fix
that, but perhaps the first thing is to

Thanks! I will start taking a look at that aspect.

The short non technical answer is no, you can't control LMS timing from
an external source
LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Sonos

Not sure where to post this, so please re-direct me if appropriate, but
since I only observed this after installing Spotty, I'll start here.
Every day I play a few of my Spotify playlists with LMS set to play
random tracks. After 30-55 tracks, LMS will just stop at the end of a
track. Hitting
I love this plugin, being able to play anything from my iDevices
straight to my squeezeboxen.
Is there a way to tweak the setup though so that the iDevice gets the
correct audio delay info so that it will correctly delay video?
If I airplay YouTube on my iPhone or iPad to my Yamaha AVR

Oh I see - you're partly right

It's probably me not understanding
If you change a default, and someone who had a field set to something
explicit clears a field, the new default may not be what they expected
it to be, or have I got that wrong? Not a big deal.

No I haven't  I've ignored them :p The clue is the title "A simple

Thank you, wonderful SB community. After a week without Spotify, 15
minutes with a new Raspberry Pi and the instructions in the first post
and I was back up and running! I have *no idea* what the other
components running on the Pi that *aren't* squeezebox/LMS related, but I
don't care. Once

Sorry I don't understand
LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Sonos
PLAY:3, PLAY:5, Marantz NR1603, JBL OnBeat, XBoxOne, XBMC, Foobar2000,
ShairPortW,
You have missed the additional file system and mount instructions
Another way of finding the IP address if you already have a working LMS
is to look at the working one Settings / information and scroll down
looking for piCorePlayer
Otherwise looks pretty spot on to me
*Pi3 with piCoreplayer

Oh no worries, that would only be for new installations. Such new
default would not override existing settings. The default built in
settings are used only once (copied) when the bridge starts for the
first time to fill user's settings. You have to erase you config file or

If I have missed anything out :o, you'll have to work it out yourself

Here is a bare bones on how to install Spotty on a Raspberry pi3B.
This is just my simple guide to what I have done, if you use it, you do
so at your own risk.
You first need to install LogitechMediaServer on the pi.
Decide which OS you want to use.
I have used piCorePlayer in this example.

Hi, first of all, thanks for providing the beta version to keep my LMS
alive. The official release 7.9.0 stopped working since someday I
upgraded to DSM 6.
The beta version of LMS (7.9.1-1492077569) is working well (almost) but
it crashes if I tried to play a folder from my Squeezebox Radio.
Thank You!
