How are you getting Custom Browse items into the My Music menu? All I
get is one Custom Browse item which contains the items added using
Manage Menus.

What version of LMS are you using?

If you use --bold-weight:500; and --std-weight:390; for Windows, it
looks about the same as 600/400 on Linux.

Thanks for looking at this.
I can't change the order of the standard menu items but if I create
Additional Browse Modes items they are added at the top in the order
created. I can then add Custom Browse items and place them using -Menu
sort order (1-100)- on the Manage Menus page in the Custom Browse
settings (this setting requires some trial & error). I can then get them
into a logical order but Squeeze Ctrl rearranges them (I just noticed
that in the rearranged list the ABM items are now alphabetical?). It
obviously isn't a big thing but I was just surprised that OrngSqz gets

Library Views is disabled by deselecting it on the Additional Browse
Modes list (I don't know what it does and can't find any documentation
for it so would just prefer to remove it).

I tried reducing the weight a bit on Windows, but then it looks too thin
on Linux. You might have to resort javascript. I'll play with it a bit
more and let you know what weights match the current Linux weights.

but only for the current item. Items other than the current item do not

I've just pushed a commit to use only 2 font weights, and set variables
for these. Perhaps you could try editing --std-weight and --bold-weight
in style.css and see what values look best on Windows? If they also look
OK on Linux, then I can jsut use those values. If not, then I could use

The font used shoud be the same, as I bundle it with Material.

Nope, SLX is doing nothing to the page or fonts. Looks same in browser
on Windows. So perhaps a Windows thing where Windows is substituting a
font? Yes, they are bold.

The shifting of the player name is on purpose - but should only happen
at 800px or wider. The left/right margins are inceased due to extra
space. The nav button is an error - and is due to a missing bracket in
the css file. All of this only affects the git version though.

Other width weirdness.

Left picture show normal mobile layout case with width < 500px. The
right picture shows width > ~500px. Something happens around 500 pixel
width, where the Player name and the list items shift a little right,
but the header item actually shifts in the opposite direction to the
left. Also, the Browse button grows in size and changes to bright
white, and the "Browse" text shift up a little.

Looks like the very top left corner of the first five tick boxes is the
only place that detects the click - whilst the last box ( remove

I was just throwing a number around that clears the history -almost-.
But I have no idea how the history is implemented, so I trust your
judgment. Clearing it with more than 50 entries sounds like a good idea.
Is it cleared when I hit the home button? That shouldn't do any harm

Loving the new version - noticed a minor problem with the new settings
though.

I find the tick list under Home Screen Items in the Settings screen
oddly unresponsive - adding/removing Remote Libraries works ok for
example, but the others rarely respond to a selection

Tried Firefox & Chrome on Linux which both behave in same way - and
Chrome on Android ( which seems marginally better - but still not great
)

I've added a github issue for this, so that it isnot forgotten about.
Won't be done for while, if ever, though.

The README on the github [age will tell you what you need to know. e.g.
[i]http://SERVER:9000/mini?player=kitchen[i] - spaces need to be URL
escaped. I do not recommed this though, as each will update the
local-storage, etc.

It's always been that way - the browse history is cleard when one of
these is shown, to save it getting too deep (e.g. after lots of "More")

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin

2019-09-17 Thread Marbieskarb

Hello,

I wanted to know if it would be possible to implement an option to have
distinct mini players rather than having to toggle the player/room
within the single mini player window?

For example: http://yoursqueezeboxserverip:9000/mini/living room
http://yoursqueezeboxserverip:9000/mini/dining
room
http://yoursqueezeboxserverip:9000/mini/kitchen

or whatever the syntax/url would need to be depending on your
player/room names.

Thank you!

Well, I thought it was because of the Frenchies, who are always a
problem anyway :)

In addition, I'm a regex idiot
