this error after the upgrade, and updating vcruntime140.dll to clear
those errors.
Are you using any kind of firewall blocking outgoing traffic? The helper
binary changed, and you might need to whitelist it again.

Sorry for spamming but I just uninstalled the plugin and restarted
several times (via the GUI and the docker itself). Volume was stable and
did not change.
I reinstalled Spotty and after the restart (initiated by the web
interface) the volume immediately went to 49% again.

Bingo ! I did a fresh install, rather than the 'Card in Place'
update and that fixed the problem.

Just One LMS running. In the previous images I posted. You can see All
of the other Players on that LMS, even the 'Problem' one.

I still have this problem. Updated to PiCorePlayer today with 8.0 and
this player still does not show other players that are connected to
LMS... This Player does show up on a tab, when Connected to other
players on LMS.
Any new Ideas?

You're welcome. I had a similar issue to address in SLX itself when I
made this change and also had to switch to using ClassName to determine
if SLX was already running on startup.

I have installed LMS 8.1.1 version on an old Dell 1525 for my vacation
house.
When installing Spotty, I get the same message as Malcom, but it says

I have a query about the now playing display.
Most Audiobook / podcast players show specialised rewind/advance buttons
(30 secs.).
Would it be possible to use this convention on the now playing screen?
Maybe detecting that an mp3 file is an Audiobook from the genre tag?

I've checked the logs but even on debug loglevel for the plugin, there
is nothing.
Using the App in the LMS webinterface with its Bandcamp URL textbox does
however work just as expected and plays fine
