Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
Yes - that is the way that it works ... for now at least. I have two different sources of data and the http request to fetch things is asynchronous and complete at different times. Not all tracks have album covers. I think I have worked out how to get the change of track to be much closer to the audio but at the expense of the duration being shown. More experimentation later today. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
The latest (32-bit version only) version may include a messed up version of squeezelite-win.exe that fails to run. I'm not sure how I corrupted it, but I did somehow. I just noticed this today as I rarely run the 32-bit version. Apparently no one else does either, but if this is an issue for you let me know and I get an update up. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
Got the 15b beta, and yes, seeing album artwork. I guess you know this, but the "next" track info arrives ahead of its audio, and the artwork arrives a little after that. Note that the Jazz 24 logo appears instead of an album cover when it's one of the station's own sessions that's being played. Good work, Paulit's getting closer. whitman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115201 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This is creating ad-hoc speaker groups for synced music and is an official feature - Sonos support this and so do the desktop clients. Go to your Spotify app and then go to streaming speakers, you will see an ellipse by those clients that support it. When you click on them, it shows an option to "Group Rooms". Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Use Comment Tag Info
Do you have some plugin or script that -*automatically*- triggers a database rescan (clear/wipe or only looking for new media?) after *every* LMS restart? If so, why? I only rescan my library (clear/wipe) after I've added new tracks or if the filename of the existing ones has changed. So in short: not very often at all. When LMS restarts there are always some plugins that need to interact with the database when they're initializing and if the database is not available (rescan) there might be problems. So I usually trigger the rescan -manually- and certainly *never* together with a LMS restart. Just take a look at everything automated/scheduled. The usual way to get to the bottom of this would be to disable all plugins (or at least all those that interact with the database and might (b)lock it) and then reenable one by one. It seems that you certainy have a lot more plugins installed/enabled than I have. BTW how many browse menus/virtual libraries, title formats and such do you have defined/enabled in UCTI? *Plugin repositories:* 'Ratings Light' (https://github.com/AF-1/lms-ratingslight) 'Visual Statistics' (https://github.com/AF-1/lms-visualstatistics) 'Use Comment Tag Info' (https://github.com/AF-1/lms-usecommenttaginfo) 'Dynamic Playlists 3 FAQ' (https://github.com/AF-1/lms-dynamicplaylists#faq) 'Custom Skip 3 FAQ' (https://github.com/AF-1/lms-customskip#faq) afriend's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39306 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114968 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
Now that I have seen that 0.0.14 is downloading ... I have put 0.0.15a into the beta repo. The only change so far is to add Jazz24 (from recent request) but, so far, without cover art. It should show artist & title (which listeners were probably getting anyway) plus album. I know how to get the cover art but trying to find a good way to do it. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] 'MediaServer' *certified* Alexa skill for LMS
An old Amazon bug where an Echo would indicate STOPPED when actually PLAYING has resurfaced. This means that you may sometimes have to say stop or pause twice to actually stop streaming. It's not the skill's fault but if enough people have an issue with it then I can workaround. The problem with that, though, is that people often say "Alexa, stop!" when she annoys them and that would stop your audio (it's always better to say shut-up or cancel). philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111016 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
