You updated half way only (Debian 9). You really should go all the way
to Buster at the very least (10). Better try all the way to Bullseye
(11). You really need recent SSL

Hi, I am enjoying the updates but still have had to do it by cards so
can't update the radios. I have installed and ticked the plug in but it
doesn't seem to like the Netgear NAS, is there a way of doing a card
update through some sort of ethernet adapter?

Try an ssh client (e.g. putty or SmarTTY) and login with username pi and
password max2play.

I have been using SqueezeCtrl for a while on my aging Samsung Galaxy S7
and have had no problems at all. I recently upgraded to a S21 and now
the app crashes whenever I try to download a song. The Download Manager
gives the error "java.io.IOExcption: Invalid file path". I can see the

I've taken a different approach this time*.
It does track the real start-time a bit better but is still in advance -
sometimes 20 seconds or so.
But that is better than the 2 minutes I was seeing with their "official"
data.

differences in local pathes seen by the different programs (MusicIP
versus LMS), not for running it

db/full rescan, since first enabling of this plugin. Anyway, after
disable/reenable the plugin, the environment is running since two

I did some further testing and your are right: bitrate is always
synchronised even for my own music library. Thanks Slartibartfast for
making me aware of this.
My confusion was because I didn't know the max bitrate of the individual
players. So for Squeezebox Boom max sample rate is 48 kHz

As I say, I thought the no-cover tracks were tracks from their own
sessionsthey do play such thingsbut I think there are too many for
