Custom Clock Helper setting changes will modify the clock style on your
system. If you want to restore the original settings check the box next
to "Restore to online version or delete if only available locally" and
click apply.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: ShairTunes2W - Airtunes on LMS (forked version with Windows support)

2022-10-11 Thread kpstanton

Everything with Shairtunes2 seems to be working fine, except for the
fact that none of my Chromecast devices are discovered by the plugin
and, therefore, I cannot "airplay" to them from any of my iDevices. All
my other Squeezelite players are discovered and can be "airplayed" to
without issue. The Chromecast devices are discovered by the Chromecast
bridge plugin without issue and are working normally. Additionally, if I
add a Chromecast device to a group, the group is discovered by
Shairtunes2 and I can "airplay" to it as part of the group without
issue. Even if the Chromecast device is the only member of the group,
it works as designed, however, placing all the Chromecast devices in
their own individual groups seems a bit redundant and is probably just
asking for more problems to develop down the road.
There is an option in settings to "Allow all Squeezelite-based Players",
however the web interface is not allowing me to click the checkbox and
save the setting. I have done a complete LMS reinstall to no avail.
Any ideas?

Windows Server 2016, LMS=8.2, ShareTunes2=0.205.3, Chromecast
Bridge=1.82.2

I have only recently discovered Logitech Media Server ecosystem, and I
must admit I am very impressed by the quality of the software and the
obvious dedication of the all developers. Thanks in advance for any
help!

Can you go to the diagnostics page and look at the dmesg section.

Towards the bottom, you should see some lines about disk device
detection, can you copy those here. (Or just the entire section if you
are unsure)

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Locating SSD Drive on PiCorePlayer

2022-10-11 Thread Shozzer

Hi

I have a DeskPi Pro which incorporates a pi 4b with 8GB ram. I am on
piCorePlayer version: 8.2.0, piCore version: 13.2.

Up until now I have used an attached USB storage device for my own
library but decided to use the SSD socket in the DeskPi and install a
2TB SSD instead. When a USB device is attached PiCorePlayer detects the
device to mount. There is no acknowledgement, however, of the SSD and
despite using WinSCP I am unable to navigate to it to find the path for
LMS to mount the library. Does anyone have any ideas how I can overcome
this issue?

Thanks.

Steve

Thanks for the help! I also noticed the update to 0.144.2 came available
today. Prior to making the local edit or updating the plugin i decided
to test if the problem was still there. To my suprise the audio started
playing (same videos that didnt work few days ago). Don't know how this
is possible but happy anyway things work again.

2022-10-11 Thread Paytheprice

Thanks for the info. After a week on holidays I first saw the post
yesterday. I wil try to apply the changes.

As for now: I am on LMS - advanced - custom clock settings. In the drop
down under clock styles I have chosen SDT weather Celsius touch. Do I
now have to set up a completely new style, or do my changes made in the
items-dropdown directy change the settings of the clock style SDT
weather Celsius touch? It seems the first might be correct because the
clocktext ist always light grey and never yellow as found on my devices.

But nevertheless I will try to go forward by just trying it.

You should be able to see the two values you need to change during the
set up and I have updated the above instructions again with the set up
screenshots.

Hopefully this time will work for you.

To update the plugin use the regular web interface to LMS
Settings/Plugins
However, that will only collect the official release of the plugin
unless you add some other beta repo or you patch the source yourself

Not sure how to fix this on my system as I'm running LMS through a
docker on open media vault (OMV5)?

Tried to restarting the docker container hoping it would pull the latest
plugin etc but that didn't work.
