I'm getting the general transient error message, though the self test
works out. I wonder if a sudden surge in sign-ups (MOG users jumping
ship today, like me :) ) is giving Spotify trouble...

I got it working. Forgive my noobosity, but I needed to allow
spotifyd.exe in the Windows Firewall settings. See

The 'Radio' feature isn't working for me, however.

I'm also interested in others' experiences here. I'm hoping to use Inguz
just for EQ on a SqueezePlay or Squeezeslave player whilst leaving my
SB2 playing without it.
I'm also hoping to sync them. :D It all works fine so far, before
trying Inguz.

This is a great development! Thank you Michael for continuing the hard
work and ingenuity!
I will give this a shot tonight.
I have a slightly OT question: will this be completely moot if Logitech
pulls the plug on MySB.com? Has there been any recent news on Logitech
plans for the site/service?

Excellent. Thanks!

And thank you for keeping LMS up to date with Spotify!
I have noticed a strange thing though. I'm getting the nebulous "illegal
file descriptor or filehandle" error piling up in the LMS log file when
Spotty is playing. There
I am now playing a daily mix through my synchronized SB3, SB2, and
piCorePlayer. LMS is running on another pCp with squeezelite disabled.
This. Is. Awesome.
Thank you so much, Michael, for continuing to support those of us who
refuse to stop using LMS!
All the thumbs up!
I updated to 2.0 and enabled my piCore server in the Spotify mobile app.
So the API app works in LMS.
But when I try to enable a player, the mobile app doesn't give it as an
option. What am I missing? I've tried restarting LMS after applying the
enable checkbox, restarting with the checkbox

I used the web player instead and added players to Connect. All working
now.

Thanks for replying to my question, Michael. Sorry it took me a month to
respond.
No, I don't use any screensaver other than 'Now Playing' for my SB2 and
3.

I love having Spotty for my LMS setup and use it daily. One thing that I
have never been able to get right is the song display when multiple
players are synced and using Connect. The audio works fine. Occasionally
a song will repeat, or the playlist will not continue, but that's few

Thanks. I checked, and all players already had crossfade disabled.

My playlists have been somewhat large; 300-500 songs.
Oddly its been working well again for about an hour or so. There may be
something to the song length, but Im not sure.

I am having this problem as well a lot lately. I frequently have to
manually skip to the next song in a playlist to keep it going.

Every time I open iPeng on my iPhone SE (2020), it lowers the volume of
my grouped players. However, it doesnt do this when I open the
app with my iPad Air (2019, IOS 14.0.1).
I love iPengs functionality for controlling my players throughout
the house, but this volume quirk is very frustrating,
It still does it with ungrouped players, as well as with local music.
I rebooted the piCorePlayer server and my phone before I posted earlier.

Thank you for continuing to contribute! Your post made me check
everything in the players screen again.
I figured it out. Well, I got it to stop.
My iPhone has iPeng playback enabled and I occasionally use it. Even
though its not part of the sync group, it was causing the volume drop.

Thanks for trying! Maybe the next iPeng update will magically take care
of it...

Thank you, tw99! Toggling some checkboxes in the filetypes settings page
solved this!
I unchecked "Prefer native format (decoding on the player) whenever
possible" and disabled Ogg in the Spotty file types to get the smoothest
sync at the start of songs.
Cheers!
I didn't see another 4.7 thread, so I'm asking here.
I use a mixture of hardware SBs and some linux squeezelite players in my
home setup, all synced with the Group plugin in one group. Every player
is hardwired in my home network. Most of my listening is through Spotty.
All Connect features are

This is an exciting development. I hope you make progress and update
this thread about your findings.

I've tried searching this big thread and elsewhere, but I can't find an
answer for my problem.
I have a studio subscription to Qobuz and the plugin works for playing
16-bit, 44.1kHz Flac music. I however can't get hi-res files to stream
to my players. I have 24-bit, 192k local files that will
