I love Radio Paradise. A constant flow of new gems which I would like to keep. I know I can search the track on Spotify and I know I can save that spotify track in my favorites list on LMS. Editing favorites and playlist is possible (different formats, rescanning the playlists) I would like to save the selected spotify track directly in a local playlist or even better a list of my playlists (like philip meyer's playlist manager plugin). I have developed the habit of adding spotify tracks to LMS M3U playlists with the help of the Playlist Manager plugin. Recently I noticed my playlists are showing strange behaviour: All spotify tracks play, some spotify tracks have missing coverart and incorrect artist, album and track info. Tried deleting the spotty cache without succes. Stopping and starting LMS resolves the problem for some time, maybe until I add a problem spotify track, I can't reproduce it... I'm using Squeezelite-X with Material skin. Awesome! On my PC and notebook I noticed the settings and player settings screens are very slow in responding. In Chrome I don't see this slowdown. My PC is even slower than the notebook. Maybe because it's running in 4K. Specs of this PC i7-7700, 32 Gb RAM, GT1030 and SSD's should be enough power. On my setup (Mac Mojave) the RP FLAC streams constantly show rebuffering which pauze the audio. 320 streams play normally. I'm the only one with rebuffering? Found a cheap Android 7 tablet and couldn't resist. Now running Orange Squeeze. I have a few questions maybe bugs: - I found the option to choose a list as default or columns. To my surprise Favorites and all Spotty content always shows as list even if columns is chosen - Press and hold on the artwork in now playing results in a popup list. In landscape mode this list jumps from top to bottom if scrolled. In portrait mode the popup list sticks to it's original place I like Orange Squeezer! I am used to Ipeng on iPhone. I managed to find and follow a playlist of 1600+ tracks and discovered spotty only grabs the first 200 tracks. I noticed it started skipping after I started a new listening session with connect, and with the skipping the progress bar in spotify stopped working. Stopping and starting LMS revived spotify connect and the spotify progress bar. Maybe an idea: What if the spotty connect exe is killed once the player is powered off and start spotty exe if the player is powered on. I don't see any .tmp*** in my TMPDIR ons MacOS The progress bar in Spotify (PC and IOS) isn't running (on LMS it runs). I'm sure I spotted a working spotify progress bar in the past. So I enabled connect on another player and disabled the other player and now I see the progress bar. No skipping for now. Spotify sees two LMS connect player. The other Spotty is still running. I had connect enabled for all my players. It sometimes resulted in strange behaviour. Disabled all but one player and checked if crossfade is off. Connect is working much better now if not perfectly. I was wondering: My log is flooded with getMetadataFor 5 or 6 times per second. Is this by design? Maybe Jive clients ignore requests if the frequency is to high or a buffer overflows.. Also noticed if the Jive clients are in sync and I stop RP playback the log is quiet. Maybe a small bug: I noticed the now playing info (title, artist, cover etc) sometimes doesn't update. So I set the plugin logging to debug. A fresh start of RP playing shows a queue of 5 tracks (0-4) loaded. Track 0 shows correct now playing info. track 1 won't update now playing. Track 3 showed correct now playing. After that two blocks of tracks are loaded and the now playing is refreshed but different from what's playing (I think). the now playing doesn't change with the next track The sound quality is perfect and the stream plays flawless. running 1.9.3 now. didn't uninstall the brew pv version. Only issue I see now is the spotty deamons don't quit if I disable spotify connect or stop LMS. I disabled spotify connect for all my players, restarted LMS. Spotify (not Spotty) still remembers two spotify connect players and they also work. After I switch back to the spotify app the track stops on the squeezebox. After a short pause it start playing again forever. Same here. The old spotify plugin did show the playlists etc and played tracks without sound. I noticed the old Spotify app played FLAC converted files like the Spotty plugin. After removing the Spotty plugin Spotify plays back Ogg Vorbis with sound. My guess: Spotify itself killed something. It was really cool to play unlimited streams with one Spotify account. After removing the Spotify plugin, the "On Spotify" menu option is gone (Pressing + on a player remote of clicking on the track title in the webgui). I had a closer look on what's happening in the webinterface and in the log. With a playlist of three or more tracks DSTM kicks in during playback of the second last track (before the last one) the log file list 1 songs remaining, songindex = 12 . After that new tracks are added. When should DSTM kick in in the last or the second last track and what should the log list as songs remaining. playlist of 1,2,3,4 or 5 tracks result in a new playlist and stopped playback A playlist of 6 tracks: DSTM adds 5 new tracks and deletes the first 5 tracks. The result is once tracks 5 plays track 5 is deleted and playback continues at track 6 which is now the first track A playlist of 7 tracks: DSTM adds 5 new tracks and deletse the first 5 tracks. playback continues at track 5 which is now track 1 My conclusion: DTSM allways tries to delete 5 tracks once it kicks in. Then I remembered an option "maximum playlist length" in setting : I had set this to zero (unlimited since I have 16G of RAM who cares...). Changed to 50 and voila. DSTM works. Yes 'hey laura' is the track playing. This track is replaced with 5 new tracks. Normally the 5 new tracks are added. Maybe the playback stops because it is deleted. Maybe this help to reproduce:
- Start playback of an album
- Delete all tracks except the one playing
- halfway the track playing DSTM kicks in. Stops playback of the music
and generates a new playlist of 5 new tracks.
The songs remaining in the log is not correct

[SlimDevices: Plugins] DSTM stops with one track in playlist
If I play only one track and DSTM is active it creates 5 new tracks in
the playlist and stops playback.
This doesn't happen if the playlist is 6 or more tracks.
lms is the latest nightly 7.9 running on osx el capitan

Installed the ipeng and ipeng for ipad updates. Flac now plays gapless and without stuttering. Thanks! On the ipad spotify plays with triodes plugin. Playback with iPeng or Squeezepad only works if the server and client are on the same network. Updated the plugin to 2.01 and the server to 7.6.1 Everything is working perfectly! Do i need to remove the test repository? The library function is very handy. Squeezeserver should implement this idea as an alternative for the favorite function. Please make the library function a keeper in spotify (I read somewhere it is an experiment) Any thoughts regarding offline track for spotify?
