Pi2 running Max2Play as LMS server and player. As it turns out, someone was ironing in the house and trying to play local stored music had the same effect, so it could be that the element turning on caused my dac to drop the connection from the Pi for a moment.

Just to let you know, I am also getting the stream cut off at about 2:25 each time. This is on an RPi2 running Max2Play outputting to a Hifiberry Digi+ (if it makes a difference). The dropout seems to be the same whether transcoding is allowed or not. What would be useful for you in finding out
