Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Lazy Search Music repo missing?
Yes, I was able to unzip the archive into /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Plugins and everything works now! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Lazy Search Music repo missing?
I have installed LMS 7.9 in a Docker container on my QNAP server, and have everything running properly. The only thing that I couldn't restore is the Lazy Search plugin. The repo at https://github.com/hickinbottoms/squeezebox-server-plugins/blob/master/repo.xml doesn't seem to work. I can download the .zip of the last archive from github.io, but I can't figure out how to install this .zip without going through the repository. Does anyone know how to do this? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Erlands commercial plugins available for free
I am running LMS 7.9.1 in a Docker container on a QNAP TS253-pro. I have added the repository http://erland.github.io/squeezebox-downloads/repositories/latest.xml and there is an item "Erland's plugins and applets" from the Plugins page in Server Settings. When I select any item to install, I get the "Click here to restart the server" dialog. However, when I click "Restart now", the page reloads with the plugin listed under "Updated plugins available". So I select the plugin, click Apply. But it never restarts the server and continually shows the item in "Updated plugins available". Am able to install all other plugins without problem. I can download the .zip archive of the plugin from URL in the repositories/latest.xml file. But I don't know where to put it in the Docker. Can I unpack it into "cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/" folder? I systematically went through all of the plugins to find the culprit. On my install I found that Picture Gallery (one of the default plugins) was causing the random crashes. When I restarted LMS that plugin would re-enable. However, when I remember to disable it the LMS is quite stable again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.70 (windows frontend)
I have been a big fan of Moose. I have recently been using a small netbook computer (Acer Aspire One) as my Moose interface for SqueezeCenter. Everything works fine, but for the life of me I cannot get it to download any of the album cover art. The Acer is running WinXP SP3 with .NET ver 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5 sp1. My music is stored on a server (QNAP TurboStation-109) on 192.168.0.50 in my LAN. The album art is embedded in each MP3 as I don't file the MP3's by album. I have SC 7.3.2 running on the server (via flipflip's SSODS). I have performed a Clear library and rescan everything. From the Acer, everything in Moose works except the album art is not downloaded. During a Moose rescan, the album art does not show any cover thumbnails as I would expect. On our older Dell laptop, this works perfectly fine and all cover art is downloaded, using the same Moose070. My wife's Acer also does not download cover art. The funny thing is, I had previously used the Acer as a little SqueezeBox remote control, and all cover art was downloaded before (previous version). I'm pulling my hair out on this one. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Defeated by a Moose
I'm at my wit's end... For the life of me, I cannot get Moose 0.59 to see the Slimserver mysql database on my WinXP pro machine. Slimserver 6.5.3 is installed on my laptop on D:\Program Files\Slimserver. The music is on the E:\Muzak partition. The MySQL DB is set to slimserver on port 9092 with usr slimserver or root. Moose can browse the file tree, but any attempts to scan the moose library are met with the Problem connecting to MySql server: Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts. This could happen if port 9092 of the mysqld.exe is not allowed through a firewall on the server machine. I have created a firewall rule (Sygate personal) to allow incoming/outgoing traffic for both TCP and UDP on ports 3483, 9000, 9090, and 9092. I have even (eek) disabled the firewall, with no luck. I have set my router to forward ports 9000-9092 to this particular machine, on 192.168.0.2 I reboot mysqld.exe, I reboot slimserver, I reboot the computer. Still no Moo file scanning. Ack! (But Moose still works great as a graphical front end to slimserver). - Terry -- docterry docterry's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13310 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38664 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Dr Lovegrove;229708 Wrote: Hi Terry, On your server machine have you edited the my.tt file to remove the binding line ? Instructions on the website.. Otherwise it could be an IP address resolution issue. Certain network setups seem to have problems talking to MySQL using IP addresses, but work fine with network names, so you could try swapping the server IP with the name of the server machine.. I suspect it's the my.tt issue though.. docterry[/color] Sage advice from the doctor. Worked like a charm. slaps forehead - Terry -- docterry docterry's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13310 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38664 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
