This seems to occur especially when adding new songs to the queue.
It'll typically either pause, and i have to skip track or play the newly
added tracks and pause at the end of those. Haven't been able to verify
if its different sample rates/bitrate related.

Nah not a gap, but like stops.. Sounds like you fixed it-- will give it
a try. I dont think it occurs with the regular library but i will keep
an eye out.

New to this plugin. Installed today works great!

Was wondering if there was any solution for 24 bit files? 16 bit 96k
sample rate files work ok. Otherwise i get static..

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [REQ] Turn off PC

2007-11-08 Thread kbeast

Sorry I'm revisiting this thread, but I just have my setup finally setup
the way I'd like it. PC in the basement, Slimbox hooked up upstairs.
I'm trying to use this plugin, it looks awesome, but crashes slim.exe
once it tries to run the shutdown script.

SlimServer Version: 6.5.2 - 12047 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

I've tried several combos in the plugins setup, pointing to a batch
file etc, even just shutdown -s to no avail.

Any ideas or updates to this plugin would be great. I hate to have to
boot my PC close by just to shutdown the PC downstairs.

Thanks,
.kb

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Updated AlbumReview Plugin available

2006-05-17 Thread kbeast

Unrelated I guess, but--

I did notice on album covers that I have real high res images in the
tags (like my Iron Maiden tracks)..if the resolution is higher than
600x600, they look silly in the albumreview, so I have changed line 17
to the following
(AlbumReview\HTML\Fishbone\plugins\AlbumReview\index.html):

[% IF albumimages %]img src=/music/[% albumimages %]/thumb.jpg
border=0 align=right height=200[% END %]

basically, I just added the height=200 tag, so it forces the image
down to that size, makes for a nicer read, you could probably even make
it 300, since thats kinda the standard on album art..but I perfer this
so the text wraps underneath in most reviews...and its not a tiny
cover..also not sure if you need to the width=200 tag either, I
figure it'll resize to proportion.

I love this plugin.

funny I was wondering what was going on..I thought it may be because my
girlfriend was VPN'd into work on the same box that slimserver is
running on and couldn't submit, but when I rebooted the machine and
still nothing, this makes perfect sense.
