Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
Hi I've updated to the latest plugins yesterday (iplayer v1.6.6 Extras v3.0.0) after it stopped working and not updating for a long time. I'm on version 7.8.1 of the underlying server. All seems to be working again apart from the 'Latest by Category' options. It provides the list of categories (Latest Drama, Latest Comedy etc) but then if you click any of them it leads to a 404 not found error. Should these be working or are they no longer populated at the BBC source? I can get to underlying stream souces through other routes. My family really appreciate the access this plugin provides! nathank's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33736 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
The iPlayer plugin stopped working the other day. It seems the player isn't recognising available formats. I'm using version 1.2.5 on the latest server version on a Sparc Readynas. I don't believe I have changed anything between it working and it now being broken. It isn't working on a squeezebox 2 (old kit) or the squeezeplay software 7.5.3. however is works on Squeezebox radio Have available formats from BBC changed recently? Here's a log of it failing to place on Squeezeplay. http://pastebin.com/8KM6NXXW -- nathank nathank's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33736 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPlayer live streams fail on Netgear NAS Duo
Listen again works fine. So there isn't an MP3 live stream for BBC radio then! Oh well I'll make do without then :-( -- nathank nathank's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33736 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70163 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPlayer live streams fail on Netgear NAS Duo
Here's the log once with just AAC checked, once with just MP3 checked. Seems to have made no difference as the logs never make a request for anything other than an mms:// protocol request. Could it be as simple as iPlayer not correctly reading the settings and never requesting an MP3 based stream? +---+ |Filename: SlimiPlayerLog.txt | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8515| +---+ -- nathank nathank's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33736 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70163 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPlayer live streams fail on Netgear NAS Duo
Yep using the iPlayer and testing with R1 & R2. Given the NAS can't transcode. Do the live streams of radio come in a format that can be decoded by the player? If so, what is a URL that I could use to test with? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPlayer live streams fail on Netgear NAS Duo
I've only got the MP3 iPlayer advanced option set and it still gives the mms:// error. To be clear this is a first edition squeezebox if that makes any difference. I agree it is because the Duo can't support transcoding, does it need to or is there a way to get native streams that the squeezebox can just stream?
