Sorry if the answer to this posted elsewhere, but after several days trying I've not found it and I suspect the solution is simple. (I'm no programmer.) I have managed to get the YT plugin apparently working, but there's no sound. [SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update on a Mac
I recently purchased an iMac and have successfully set up Squeezecenter to run as it did on my PC, except that I cannot make iTunes Update work. (I have used the extension downloader to add Trackstat, Custom Scan, iTunes Update, etc.) I have read James Craig's instructions, which explain the need to install Mac::Applescript::Glue Unfortunately, my Mac did not come with the OSX DVD, so I cannot install 'Developer Tools' and hence cannot install Perl modules Mac::Applescript:Glue I am a complete beginner when it comes to Macs. Can anyone help? iTunes update receives the rating and is working fine. iTunes does not alter its rating, but it does update the playcount. I'm not sure I entirely understand the question. When rating with the remote, 'Trackstat Rating' appears on the screen and the SqueezeCenter webpage is subsequently updated, but I see no mention of iTunes update setting the ratings in iTunes. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Ratings issues - iTunes update and Trackstat
I've have happily used my Squeezebox 3 for a while and have started experimenting with Plugins. My current wish is to display track ratings on the 'Now playing' screen. I have previously been rating songs using iTunes update. Since installing Trackstat (and Title switcher), iTunes Update seems no longer to work. Previously, I could rate tracks using the remote and this rating would appear on iTunes, but now this creates a Trackstat rating only. Also, I attempted to import my existing iTunes ratings into Trackstat, using Custom Scan, without success. Currently, I can see Trackstat ratings on 'Now playing', but not my iTunes ratings. Anyone have any ideas?
