Thank you Erland for the wonderful Christmas present.
Daylight clock is once again working.
Have a safe and happy new year!

Just for information.
If anyone have had problems with the Daylight Clock screen saver during
the last 2 days, it's because the site (http://www.die.net/earth) that
offers the images has been down.
If it doesn't get up again during the next week or so, I'll arrange

I installed this yesterday, and right up there with MusicInformation's

Finally figured out why I was having so much trouble!
For some reason the Controller had connected to mysqueezebox, I
reconnected to my local server & now applets galore!
Great plugin, many thanks.

Ok, I'm back up & running on 7.4 :-) & can see where the problem lies.
My Controller doesn't appear in Squeezebox Server for some reason,
although it is available under "Choose Player" on the Controller
itself???
I tried running the Applet Installer with my Classic selected & your
plugin is there!
Thanks for the reply Erland
It was the server version of 7.4 I was using but I think it's crocked
my controller so I'm going to put the normal version on & see if that's
any better :-)

Hi Erland
I'd really like to get your daylight clock plugin running on my

Bug 14251 which will be fixed in the next nightly version of 7.4.0
The issue was that the recommended repo was not added to the list of
repos which the server would search for applets. Hence by moving the

It might work on 7.3 but you would have to install it manually through
ssh and I haven't tested it at all on 7.3 so it might crash immediately.

need the details, but I'm not sure it would work good to show a smal

Excellent version 1.0, Erland!
Have you looked at NASA and the xplanet sf.net project for image
sources?
Here's what I'd love to see: bundle 24 different cloudless hemisphere

Very nice.
Like Philip I would like to be able to preview it from the
day-clock-settings.
For the moon it would be cool to have the option of choosing the info
about the moon phase as 2nd/3rd text. E.g. "The waxing crescent, 2.2 day
old moon, 5.3% lit" btw the moon looks great tonigt :)

I'm used to looking for plugin settings within Extras on classic players. The
Extras menu can be enabled, but it's not displayed by default, so I guess that
would be a bad place to put it now.

I used the same position as the Image Viewer (Flickr) applet does, but
maybe there is a more logical place ?

Really nice! I like the way you've laid out the options of different
perspectives with and without clouds. The installation routine is a
little convoluted, but it appears that is the case with all applets at
the moment. Thanks for another great addition to the SB world!
