Hi Paul piCorePlayer6.0.0-rc1 is up and running very nicely.I have installed it several times to try and work out a install procedure. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks Greg Here is what I have worked through (I think I have it correct) setting up piCorePlayer (pCP) 6.0.0-rc1 on a Raspberrypi Zero W with a AIY version 2 voicebonnet download the piCorePlayer6.0.0-rc1 image from the piCorePlayer web site burn the image with your prefered SD card programmer mount the SD card and edit the wpa_supplicant.conf.sample for your wifi wireless router/access point change the file name to wpa_supplicant.conf connect to HDMI monitor and keyboard to set up alsamixer insert SD card into pCP and boot connect to the pCP web page and goto the Main Page click the Resize FS button (if desired) click the partition size dropdown and select the desired size click the Resize button goto the pCP Squeezelite Settings web page Set the output card to USB Audio click the card Save button click the card control button click the save squeezlite settings for reboot button go to the pCP main page and click the Reboot button after reboot goto the Squeezelite Settings page set the Output setting to device hw:CARD=aiyvoicebonnet,DEV=0 click the card control button click the save squeezlite settings for reboot button go to the pCP main page and click the Reboot button after reboot go to the pCP cli and enter alsamixer It will probably display the PCM setting information enter F6 to change the Output setting to hw:CARD=aiyvoicebonnet,DEV=0 set volumes and enable options using cursor and m keys I set set headphone and speaker gain values to 72 and enable headphone, speaker, I2S2, DAC1 MIX, all HPO***'s, all SPK***'s, Stereo DAC MIX L, Stereo DAC MIX R. all other options disabled. all options have not thoroughly been figured out. go back to the pCP Squeezelite Settings web page click the card control button click the save squeezlite settings for reboot button set the player name you want and save go to your LMS server and select your new pCP you should be able to play music at this time go to the pCP main page and click the reboot button pCP should reboot and start playing music (providing you left LMS playing) Now you should be able to add extras to pCP (LMS server, etc.) Enjoy! Some cards you cannot just do a alsactl restore, as alsa mixer tries to dump all of the commands at once, and some commands aren't valid until other modes are switched. You probably need to do them one by one. Make a script and then run the script via the user commands section. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. Hi Paul I ran into a few problems (misplaced my flash card). The working Raspbian + squeezelit was the original aiy voicekit micro sd card and adding squeezelite package from the Raspbian repo. I looked around and found a source directory that has the aiy voicebonnet card source as well as other aiy packages. I made a zip of the directory for you to look at. I tried to attach it (29.2MB) but it didn't seem to work (firefox). I joined dropbox and have a link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6h6l5dgtd95til3/src.zip?dl=0 Greg gregfrye's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69809 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111607 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] No output Raspberrypi zero W with Google voicehat
That is probably just the audio output side. Look at all of the other "aiy" drivers loaded, I assume some of those is for audio input. Where did you get the drivers to install on Rasbian? piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. [SlimDevices: Plugins] No output Raspberrypi zero W with Google voicehat
I have a bug or problem with 4, 5, 6. using a rasberry pi zero W with a Google voicehat *version 2*. With piCorePlayer there is no sound output at the headphone jack or the speaker. alsamixer reports no controls for the voicehat. With Raspbian Lite + Squezelite I get output from the headphone jack and the speaker. alsamixer reports many google voicehat options. I have found mention of people getting the voicehat to work but not any mention of which version of the hat, version 1 or version 2. has any one had a problem with version2 and found a way to fix it? current Output setting: sysdefault:CARD=sndrpigooglevoi have also tried: hw:CARD=sndrpigooglevoi and blank tc@aiypiCorePlayer:~$ squeezelite -l Output devices: null - Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture) sysdefault:CARD=sndrpigooglevoi - snd_rpi_googlevoicehat_soundcar, - Default Audio Device tc@aiypiCorePlayer:~$ squeezelite -L Volume controls for default [ INFO ] /usr/local/etc/pcp/pcp.cfg WIFI="on" DEBUG="0" MODE="30" TEST="0" NAME="aiypiCorePlayer" OUTPUT="sysdefault:CARD=sndrpigooglevoi" ALSA_PARAMS="80:4::1:" BUFFER_SIZE="" _CODEC="" XCODEC="" PRIORITY="" MAX_RATE="" UPSAMPLE="" MAC_ADDRESS="" SERVER_IP="" LOGLEVEL="" LOGFILE="" DSDOUT="" VISUALISER="" CLOSEOUT="" UNMUTE="" ALSAVOLUME="" OTHER="" AUDIO="googlevoicehat" AUDIOBOOTSCRIPT="" HOST="aiypiCorePlayer" TIMEZONE="PST8PDT,M3.2.0,M11.1.0" CPUGOVERNOR="ondemand" OVERCLOCK="NONE" ADVOVERCLOCK="None" CPUISOL="" SQLAFFINITY="" SQLOUTAFFINITY="" CMD="Default" FIQ="0xF" ALSAlevelout="Default" ALSAeq="no" STREAMER="no" REBOOT="Disabled" RB_H="0" RB_WD="*" RB_DMONTH="*" RESTART="Disabled" RS_H="0" RS_WD="*" RS_DMONTH="*" CRON_COMMAND="" AUTOSTARTLMS="" A_S_LMS="Disabled" AUTOSTARTFAV="" A_S_FAV="Disabled" USER_COMMAND_1="" USER_COMMAND_2="" USER_COMMAND_3="" JIVELITE="no" SCREENROTATE="180" JL_SCREEN_WIDTH="0" JL_SCREEN_HEIGHT="0" SHAIRPORT="yes" LMSERVER="no" LMSDATA="default" SQLT_VERSION="basic" SQBINARY="default" SQUEEZELITE="yes" POWER_GPIO="" POWER_OUTPUT="L" POWER_SCRIPT="" GPIOPOWEROFF="no" GPIOPOWEROFF_GPIO="17" GPIOPOWEROFF_HI="yes" GPIOSHUTDOWN="no" GPIOSHUTDOWN_GPIO="22" GPIOSHUTDOWN_HI="yes" GPIOSHUTDOWN_PU="down" IR_LIRC="no" IR_KEYTABLES="no" IR_GPIO_IN="25" IR_GPIO_OUT="" IR_DEVICE="lirc0" IR_CONFIG="" LMSWEBPORT="" FSM="Default" LMSCONTROLS="yes" PLAYERTABS="yes" HDMIPOWER="on" APMODE="no" AP_IP="" RPI3INTWIFI="on" RPIBLUETOOTH="off" SAMBA="disabled" WOL="no" WOL_NIC="" WOL_LMSMACADDRESS="" SPARAMS1="" SPARAMS2="" SPARAMS3="" SPARAMS4="" SPARAMS5="" INTERNET_CHECK_IP="" ROTDASH="no" SHAIRPORT_OUT="hw:CARD=sndrpigooglevoi" SHAIRPORT_CONTROL="" NETWORK_WAIT="50" GUI_DISABLE="0" WWW_PORT="80" 29263 Thanks for any ideas Greg Frye +---+ |Filename: Screenshot_2020-02-03 pCP - Squeezelite Settings.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=29263| +---+ gregfrye's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69809 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111607 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
