I see that message when I try and look for a firmware update.
Sorry about the log confusion - here it is
LMS is still complaining about an outdated library version:

I see
|Filename: System_log-HAL9000-20220331-114852.zip
That's many more log files than I asked for, but unfortunately not the
one I asked for Please see LMS/Settings/Information to grab a copy
of server.log.zip
Where would you see those error messages?

Spotty won't run, and neither does anything else requiring the ReadyNas
to see the outside world. I can connect to it locally for Admin, and it
has a local IP address, but it is showing that it cannot obtain an
external IP address - so no Spotty, no BBC, no updates etc.
What's the actual error

It appears to succeed but I still SSL version 'IO::Socket::SSL: 2.002'
Does anyone know how to get a more recent version of SSL on a ReadyNAS
314?
Most likely the underlying system is so old it doesn't provide up to
date libraries any more.
You could potentially try to build the library
I am having exactly the same problem since the last LMS update.
I see no Apps in the default LMS skin, but I do see them in Material
Skin and via iPeng.
I have double checked by MySqueezeBox.com login, restarted LMS and my
server multiple times.
Michael is saying that this is due to an outdated
What you're saying is true, though I still don't understand why only the
LMS gui fails and everything else works.
Because LMS probably is the only application using the IO::Socket::SSL
library. A mobile app can talk to those servers directly, if it's
implemented that way. But your log file

I have exactly the same problem. But please note: Spotty works
flawlessly, if I control it through Squeezer on my tablet. So it is only
the LMS Web menu that fails to show Spotty (and other plugins).
But in your case we know by now what the problem is, don't we? Your
system is so outdated, it
I have exactly the same problem. But please note: Spotty works
flawlessly, if I control it through Squeezer on my tablet. So it is only
the LMS Web menu that fails to show Spotty (and other plugins).

Hello mherger,
I am Using Debian 8.11 - but it is not installed
So I think I have an LMS issue - but I am not aware that I misconfigured
something on my own. I don't want to re-install LMS...
Your log is full of network related issues. What OS are you using?

I think it is not related to Spotty at all. I just installed the BBC app
for testing purposes. It does not appear on the app gallery or main menu
but is only visible when I check the option in the BBC extension to move
it to the Radio section.
So I think I have an LMS issue - but I am not aware
Bugger!! :)
maybe it's the OS

for me. :)

HI Cosi
It might help if you say
Hello garrym,
Spotty is gone. A restart of LMS did not solve the trick. Even
reinstalling Spotty did not help.

can't recall exactly, but in the past there were some apps (BBC and
others, maybe Spotty) that had some options on where they showed up in
the menu (one option was under "Radio" rather than under "my apps").

Dear all,
recently I have a strange issue with SPOTTY (latest version) on my
debian LMS installation.
The Spotty-App does not show up on the LMS menu.
On the devices as such this is working fine.
Any idea to make the app visible on the browser frontend again?
Thanks
