Hmm. All my
I installed Chromecast Bridge and it finds my 2 CC's.
However they aren't showing up in the LMS player! The dropdown to choose
my music system is just empty.
How can I fix this?

The Radio 3 flac sound really is rather good, listening to evening
concerts, but coming a bit late for me as my hearing fades :(
No matter. I know this is a bit off topic, but I'd be interested to
know if the BBC record straight to digital, and therefore whether FM
broadcasts are originally

Just wanna give some final feedback on my LMS issues. It's running
nicely now, thanks to you guys for your help. However, there is
something fundamentally flawed with the scanning process. Time varies on
my system for a full clean scan between one and almost three hours.
Especially the 'Database

All version with 5 digits are dev, version with 4 are stable. V.X.Y.Z
V = 0, maybe one day when fully done will be

BufferThreshold will not affect rate of filling the internal buffer and
so not affect the 404 issue.
"Buffer full threshold" is the level in Kbytes the buffer must reach
before the player starts playing.

Magicus - have you made any progress? I was wondering whether we could
have a librespot helper application pipe the audio data to LMS'
transcoding framework. Are you familiar with Rust?

Dear *philippe_44*,
Thank you for the marvelous plugin! I even was able to create stereo
pair from my radios and stream to them as to single airplay device.
Would it be possible to announce group of sb players as separate airplay
speaker? With purpose to let user choose streaming to individual

Listening on my headphones on Picore Server/Player and Arcam Headphone
DAC. (Latest beta on RPi 3) Had to adjust delay start to 2 minutes
before stream would play without stopping.
Recorded music sounds good but studio announcer/guest sounds a bit
"sibilant" to me. I'm not a habitual headphone

This stuff can be so complicated sometimes! On testing this morning on
my Marantz it worked fine, which fooled me for a while. However, on my
other device, M1 CLiC, it still fails.
Here's a clean log. I start by

AAC still works fine. It turns out that of my 2 UPnP players playing
radio 3 flac, one works, and one
Back to the 365kbps rate.
I added a log which did simple estimate of the rate for each 3.84 sec
segment. In a 5 minute period (a piano piece) the values were typically
in the 380-420kbps but there was one low of 146kbps and a high of
546kbps.
It looks like BBC have underestimated the bandwidth

404 is when the plugin is asking for data which is not available yet.
There is only a
With a 2 minute delay my Touch is still working well - no problems.
However, my squeezelite, now configured without any resampling, is not.
It stops 2-3 minutes after iplayer reports an error on the system log
