Is this broken in the latest 1.9, too? You're saying it was broken in
1.8.5. But you're moving quite a bit of code to revert that
regression... Can you tell me what was broken, and how you're fixing it?
I'd like to keep a bugfix simpler than that re-factoring :-)
Wouldn't un-commenting that regex at the top of ProtocolHandler.pm be
good enough? Seems to be working here. I'm wondering why it's commented
out...

For me, it only happens at the beginning of the stream.

Right, I've just experienced this. Playback stops within a very short
time after the stream is started,

This sounds like a network issun on your system. I can't recreate this
appearing/disappearing . What time interval?

It -should- be a toggle. If not, then its

I implemented the AAC decoder for squeezeplay and later the community
firmware as Logitech never released the code as they used the closed
source fdk-aac library in the official firmware.
I have spent some time investigating this issue but had to setup a local
server that streams AAC 320Kbps at

This post would suggest that it was before the Community Firmware:

There were no errors logged when I tried to select the 'Show NVS Editor'
option, which again failed. But there were some errors and

Using Material desktop and Chrome browser (running on Ubuntu) I'm unable
to access the NVS editor when I open the esp32 web page by selecting
'Configuration' from the context menu. Under 'Credits' the option to
select 'Show NVS editor" doesn't work, but 'Show Advanced Commands' does
work.

Not sure if related, but while playing music the player name keeps
switching between only the name and the name + tracks/total time as in
the attached images.

It happens irregularly between 3 and 9 seconds.
My player has a wired connection to the router, however I did a reboot
of the router. Also cleared the safari cache and terminated and
restarted Material Skin.
Unfortunately the issue I'm facing did not go

Never got to the bottom of this, as there is some soft dependency that I
was unable to trace, since I could not repeat the error on my end. Read
this and see it this helps you out.

Try telling pCP to use an older version of SMB (CIFS) by adding

into the end of the Options field

Sorry, can't
I've been running lms on PiCorePlayer v5 for yonks. My music is on a WD
MyCloud share, and I mounted it using cifs. As I said, it's been
working absolutely fine.
However, I was only using a 4G SD on my rpi, and I was running into
space issues. So I got an 8G card and decided to upgrade to
Nope - I tried vers=2.0, vers=2.1 and even vers=1.0
Tried on the command line too. The "vers" is working, as when I tried
1.0, the dmesg complained that I shouldn't use it because it's insecure.
But it still whinged about "could not allocate crypto".
Many thanks for your work!
Just installed it on Linux Mint 21 and all seem OK!
Do you think that in a future update it will be possible to implement
the computer to work as LMS end point through the app?

Hi all. I am one of the two 'bug reporters' mentioned by
expectingtofly.
In case it's helpful, the 'stuttering' sounds to me like momentary
disruption to the audio stream - as if the audio is glitching or
skipping slightly. It's not regular, it's more random. It's a little
hard to describe but
Thank you very much! Version 0.0.1 is already working smoothly on ubuntu

Thanks for the feedback, and glad its working for you. I have yet to try
this under GNOME - after using Unity and the GNOME for ~10years I have

Sorry, no idea. I have a DAC32 which I have flashed with SqueezeAMP
firmware, and this checkbox works for me from desktop Chromium.

You mean start/stop SqueezeLite? I have thought about this, but not 100%
sure of its usefulness - as (at least on my KUbuntu) SqueezeLite is
